Im having the same issue, in exactly the same spot. Dropped it off at dealer thwy said looks like someone tried to break in then I showed them all the photos of everyone elses warping in exactly the same spot....so they are looking into it.

Cdt makes really nice gear. I seriously considered them but decided to go dynaudios. I wouldnt hesitate one bit to use them.

Well no luck on the pac v2 in my ecodiesel, just hi leveled in to feed the helix dsp. A picture of progress finally stopped raining so got all the wire run just need to hook everything up and tune away. As you can see its almost like the truck was designed for two helix hxa 500s.

Running boards so the wife can get in the truck, dynaudios in the doors, was hoping to get the amps in but my PAC AP4-CH41 is defective and not fully talking to the headunit.

Some more pics, front doors and tweeter mounts. Tweeter mounts are custom made, i used a router table to copy the factory dash speaker profile. For dyns had to use 1/8 abs 1/4 made the tweeter hit the grill.

They are dynaudio esotan 272. The adaptors are steve meade designs 6x9 to 6.5 1/4 abs plates. Cool thing is they are predrilled to the same bolt pattern as the dyns. Screw arrangement, after some minor trimming of factory tabs on speaker hole, is a bit wierd. You cam get one factory screw...

Was worried they might not clear since dyns are a bit deep but with a 1/4 adapter plate no rubs on front or rear.

Despite all odds I got to pick mine up yesterday, Ram truck center in Lancaster, CA is working with a skeleton crew but still managed to make it happen. Mine took about 3 weeks from KZ to pickup.

Look what came from Frostbite. Really impressed with both the build and the price. Truck should be here Tuesday so then it's get to work.

Another piece of the puzzle came today, image dynamics idq shallow mount...still waiting on the truck. Its currently on the testbench burning in on a test tone. Very impressed with the build quality, and made in usa.

Thanks for all the details. Im sure Im going to be spending lots of time with the audiocontrol RTA sitting in the truck, when it gets here tuning and tweeking, although I am gutting my factory speakers. As the procesa moves along Ill keep you all posted.
