Timeless - what do you use for tires? I see the above but do you use anything to scrub or agitate dirt? I know my old school way is the brillo pad(steel Wool) but I am most positive that I am harming the tire ha! Let me know what you do for tires/wheels :)
you ready for this??? I literally ordered $300.00 in Carpro stuff yesterday afternoon and overnighted it LMAO!!!! I got my box 30 minutes ago. Now my only issue is getting over the fear of using a DA on my brand new RAM 1500 - I am so nervous but I am reading the machine waxing/polishing is...
Thanks Timeless!!!! Those Carpro products look AMAZING!!!!!! Now I'm on information overload!!! How do you know what and how much and when - I mean there are ceramic coats - base coats - top coats - one could get carried away quickly!!! This is going to get expensive!!!!
Not entirely true Abita - this is a process where the buyer doesn't have much power - we offer money but the dealer doesn't have to take it and in these situations right now these dealers are being really tough. I ordered the truck at the end of January and I did try to negotiate my drive out...
Anybody have any feedback for detailing these new trucks? I see all kinds of waxes - I am looking for something I dont have to use a motorized tool on. Toque Detail looks to be pretty good as well as Jescar Microfinishing Polish - any suggestions out there?
I think I am just going to buy a shade for now. I love the natural colors too much. Next for me is detailing and spray wax - got any good pointers in that area?
You going to tint your windows? I am torn about this. I'm in Texas where the heat can get crazy but I also dont want to get carried away with "non-essential" add on's. I had an appointment for 9:00 but I conveniently "forgot" to show up which will buy me some time - not sure if I should or...
I would be leery of the discounts for Friends and Family - I got that discount and my price was HIGHER than advertised discounts on the dealer websites.
There is a lot of discussion around that - I am negotiating right now with mine and they are not budging. 15% is about as good as I can get. There are many theories as to why they aren't budging - my take is it's supply and demand - lots of dealers are closed and the plant isnt making any so...
He told me the $1,946 was Dealer Add Ons - Spray on Bedliner - wheel locks and Apex anti theft device - I don't know. I feel like these dealers are doubling down and just saying here is our price take it or leave it. AND - i put down $500.00 to order this one so I feel like I'm getting...
That's exactly what I told the guy yesterday - the Friends and Family code actually hurts! I told the guy his website was giving 23% off MSRP as advertised discounts and he hasn't answered me yet.
SS - Help me out - I ordered mine and now it's here - MSRP is $65,825. I have a family and friends code which gets me to $59,900. Looks like Hold Back is $1,916.00. I asked the dealer for the best price and they are telling me only $5,000.00 so my base price would be $54,900.00 + fees...
I would say the contrary - not sure if things have changed much with unions and what happened in 2008 but the reason 2008 was such a mess is because the unions had guaranteed contracts to produce cars regardless if people are buying them or not. That's why there was a bailout of the car...
