I live in MN, 4auto for light snow covered roads, 4wd when iced or 4" and above of snow. Those are my personal guides and I've never been stuck yet. I've ran 70 mph in 4wd without issue.
Talked to my service tech this morning, she tells me it's scheduled for a Feb 10th delivery.
Reading this thread makes me doubt her, hoping she's right.
Yes, right in my sig line
"2020 Laramie Sport 4x4, 6.4 bed, 20" wheels, 5.7 E-Torque, 3.92, 33 gal tank, 12" Uconnect w/ HK sound."
You'll be fine, just swap it out.
I put in the larger battery 4 yrs ago, and will replace again this spring. I didn't do anything special the 1st time.
Unhooked it in the store parking lot, bought the new and exchanged the old.
Installed the new, started up and went home.
No issues.
Mine has a bad bearing, drones and whines but still working. Dealership ordered a replacement last week.
They tell me it should arrive next week, we'll see.......
Thinking of buying another Ram, also thinking of moving up to Limited or possibly Tungsten trim.
Why would Ram make you have Ram boxes in these trims. I have zero use for them and would likely want another topper, which makes them useless.
That said, my 2020 has been fantastic and does...
Glad you had a good experience with customer service. My dealings with Real Truck 4 yrs ago was a nightmare, ordered running boards, weathertech floor mats and vent visors. Running boards came with brackets to mount only on the drivers side, took two different deliveries to get the correct...
My truck is configured as yours w/ a topper. Computer says 18.6 mpg lifetime.
I've always used mid grade 89 octane as stated in my manual, 91 octane if 89 wasn't available.
I wouldn't be happy either if my truck was getting the mileage you describe. I would talk to the dealer-service dept and...
Picked up everything I needed after work today, did both differentials. Took me about an hour and a half total.
I've got 2000 mile trip starting this weekend, feels good to know these have been changed.
I'll do the transfer case when I get back, if I can find the oil.
Dealership rotated my tires. Recommend I have a 4x4 service performed (change fluids in both diffs and transfer case). They said Chrysler Recommends it at 45k, I'm at 55k.
Is this something you all are doing?
Fyi....I'm a light use of 4x4, some towing.
Last winter, my filter got wet(snow, car wash, who knows). -30 one day and no cabin heat, took it to the dealer and 1st thing they checked was the filter. Froze solid, wouldn't allow airflow. So yes, for whatever reason water does sometimes get in there.
