    There are three brackets, seem to be pretty solid. I'm about 200lbs and can jump on them with no flex that I can feel.

    Awesome! Yeah, I'm leaning towards these I think. That does make sense on the width. I also didn't think about the contact with the truck itself because of how flush they are, so that's something I'll have to keep in mind. Thanks!
