I’ve had the same issues. When I took it to the dealer they check for updates & basically threw their hands up after that. Seems like a quality control issue.
Just spoke with the service dept. at the local Ram dealer. They said if genuine Mopar parts are used, then the factory 3 year/36,000 mile & 5 year powertrain warranty would still remain intact. Aftermarket parts can void the warranty, but not necessarily will.
After going to the dealer & getting software updates, everything seems to be working fine. (fingers crossed) I haven't had a defrost issue, but like you 18 mpg is about right with my 3.92 rear end.
Having some serious "bug" issues with the infotainment touch screen (8"). CarPlay Maps, radio reception, volume, etc. Scheduled to bring it in on the 18th. Anyone else having issues?
No, turns out that since the dealer would have to drill holes into the fender, I backed out & decided to wait until more aftermarket options are available.
I noticed after starting my truck a loud “humming” noise. I wonder if it’s the component that was added to help with the vibration from the cylinder deactivation? Anyone else have this issue?
