87 for me. Used it in my 2011 5.7 and using in my 2020 5.7 with etorque. I notice no difference between 89 & 87 in either power or milage, with or without a trailer seems to make no difference either.
The update came as I was sitting in a parking lot with the truck running. the system broadcast a message on the 12" screen that indicated an update to the system was available and ready for down load and not turn off the vehicle for up to 10 minutes. I stayed in the vehicle while the down load...
I have and it looks great but it doesn't add much in the way of sound and I'm not sure if it adds horsepower either. But again... it sure looks good and as you say, I bought it because I wanted it! LOL
Well based on what I am reading hear I must be pretty lucky. Since the update I received in the summer, my sub is nice and punchy and crisp. It was not so good prior to this update so perhaps this would help others here that have been mentioning the poor sound quality of the bass.
Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph this. It is excellent work and I will now attempt to do the same. Just got 30" of snow today so perhaps once the snow melts. Again, thanks so much for the pics!!
Ok so can you take a picture of the underside so we can see exactly how you didi this? Very smart! I have the center step but haven't figured this out yet. Very interested in what you did to make this work.
My dealer said no but there is someone on the forum here who has done it and there is a photo of it. Looks good! I have the corner step installed and I have the center step too but have yet to install it. I will figure it out over the winter.
I have the Nittos and ran them last winter but recently removed them for this winter and replaced them with Blizzak DM-V2s. I live in the foot hills of the Adirondack Mountains and need real snow tires for ice and deep snow. Nittos were good for everything but snow. They are soft and quiet for...
The mechanics at my Ram dealership are telling me that there is no way to install both the center bedstep and the rear bedstep at the same time. I will take a close look at his myself this weekend but if anyone has successfully done this please speak up because if this can't be done then I will...
Agreed! So if the two do not fit on the truck together then the center step will be sold. I have a rubber step pad on the dip in the center of the rear bumper now. Looks good and looks pretty much stock. It works but would love to have the center step too. We shall see...
Center Bed Step for my 2020 Limited with MFTG has arrived! I already have the rear corner bed step so we will soon see if both can be installed together soon.
MY truck is black and I just had the ceramic coating professionally applied and it is absolutely amazing how deep the shine is now and also how much easier it is to keep it that way. There is no comparison to a simple wax job. I am looking forward to seeing how well this performs as time goes...
Yes, there really is not a distinct sound difference with this system and I cant really tell if it does much since I have had it on the vehicle almost from the day I took delivery. But... it sure looks cool when you open up the hood and there is certainly plenty of room for an extra battery...
Agreed!! Although mine are not bad and certainly functional as is, it would be nice if they aligned better with the vehicle. This being said, it is still one of my all-time favorite features of this truck. Had them on my Ram 2011 and learned how valuable they are then. Now we have power and...
I already have the new rear corner bedstep for the 2020 limited and just placed an order for the rear center bedstep for the MFTG. I was told there will be a wait for this item. Can you tell me 1) Can both bed steps be installed at the same time on my vehicle? 2) when will Ram be shipping the...
