Hi guys, Latest update on my issue and it is not the horn pad, the airbag assembly was replaced and the noise is still there. Dealer says they will replace the steering column and is due for arrival mid November - let's see if that solves the issue.

A possible source could be the side mirror, check the plastic trim surround that is in contact with the door (check the tip of the triangular piece). Usually that section is not perfectly flush with the door and sticks out a bit, if it is pushed out you can use painters tape to get it closer...
