Do you have any experience with the Bilsteins? I have RWD, never go off road, and I'm really looking for comfort and stability at highway speeds. I got the Bilstein 4600s struts and shocks for under $300 total which seemed like a pretty good deal (TireRack.com had them on clearance). I have a...
I am changing the struts and shocks on my 2019 Ram 1500 RWD. The vehicle has 114k miles on it and the truck is riding a little rougher than it used to. I just order Bilstein 4600 struts and shocks. Any other parts I should change, especially on the struts?
Thanks in advance for any help.
My 2019 Ram 1500 RWD is starting to feel a bit harsher than is used to. It has 113K miles on it currrently. Other than looking for leaks, are there any other signs that would indicates struts and shocks are needed. My Ram is really just a commuter truck and doesn't tow or haul much other than...
In the middle of draining and refilling my 2019 5.7 liter Ram. Process is very similar to the OP's Diesel. One item to note, you do need to have a spare drain plug handy. I loosened the plug, drained the coolant, but when I went to tighten the plug, it just kept spinning. I removed to find the...
Hello
I am getting ready to complete a radiator drain and refill on my 2019 Ram 1500 5.7 liter. I know the system's capacity is around 18 quarts, but if I'm doing a radiator drain and refill, how much should I expect to drain?
Probably correct on the twisted pair scheme for these wires. CAN bus cable consists of a pair of wires known as CAN high and CAN low (indicating high and low speed, respectively). Both wires are twisted tightly together to ensure that electromagnetic interference affects the signal in both wires...
So I backed into a bollard about a year ago and finally got around to replacing the bumper that I purchased. Getting the bumper removed from the truck is extremely easy. Removing some of the black plastic trim pieces is not as easy. The top piece of trim or step pad (flat horizontal piece) has...
I used the part from the link BMW Auto Trans Oil Pan (With Filter) 24118612901 - ZF 1087298247. The link shows the BMW part to be 24118612901, but I can't say I checked the part number before installing. I did physically compare the original ZF cover/filter with the part I purchased, and they...
I worked "Spill Out" for many years, where my group would inspect, spot sand/polish, perform spot repairs and determine which vehicles would need to be repainted. After looking at 70 vehicles/hour for years, your eyes become trained to find defects extremely quickly. The picture of the zoomed in...
You see how the paint toward the front of the hood is kind of blurry where the black trim is in focus. This could just be the pic, but i was assuming if the trim was in focus, the hood's edge should be in focus. If the reflection in the hoods paint is blurry, the hood may have been repainted.
If the truck is only 3 months old, take it in for warranty repair. Sounds like the receiver is bad. I'm not sure if there is one receiver or 2, but your keyfobs would be operating on an RF signal, where the app control is likely a cellular signal.
