Got my new Weathertech mudflaps installed just in time for the rain. So much quieter with the nerf bars in the wet now. Can't even hear them, before they were super loud any time I hit any water.

Finally let mine update because it wouldn't shut up about it, and it seems to have gone well. It also doesn't seem to have done much on a '25.

No reason to take the tailgate apart. I don't think it would really help since the adhesive all needs to be pulled away on the outside anyway.

The process I used was to tape around them to protect the paint, heat them up with a heat gun, then use plastic pry bar tools to pull up the adhesive. If you use the new letters as a guide to where the clips are, you can slide a putty knife in where you know there's a clip. Then just press into...

It probably took me two hours to do all the badges. Honestly the big front and rear RAM were the easiest, they're held on by clips and not just glue. The adhesive is just awful. Get some 3M adhesive remover. And just for reference, my side steps were something like $300, there's others I like...

I went your second route and I think it turned out great. '25 Laramie with black badges and nerf bars. Mine is level 1, and I like the wheels quite a bit. They're my preference over the black 22s.

Is yours Mopar brand? If so I can compare the part number with the one that came on my '25 if you tell me where to look for it.

Sure enough. I looked once before, and I hadn't seen verification that the 2025s had them, so I gave up before I found it. Once you release them, they definitely don't want to fold easily though. I have the heated back seats, so that probably doesn't help. They started making not great plastic...

Has anybody figured out how to fold down the rear seats in a '25? Mine recline and the bottom folds up, but there doesn't seem to be a way to fold the backs down like I've seen on the '24s.

About $300 off ebay, assuming I get nothing back selling the old stuff. I didn't have a chrome bumper or anything though, mine had the sport appearance package to begin with, so it was really just the badges.

Finished removing the last of the chrome, and upgraded the reverse lights to LED. Now it just needs a bath.
