I know I'm repeating my previous posts, observations, and details of the mileage between my two trucks but here they are again and it's important to note that I am just one person so that means the truck had the same driver/driving habits, routes, location, etc.
2020 Limited, Level 1 Equipment...
Again, that's great that you got good mileage, I'm not arguing your readings or calculations at all. My sole point in this thread is that there is a proven variance between identically spec'd trucks and whle there's guys like yourself getting great miles, there's ones getting brutal miles that...
so basically one trip doing an average of about 47mph, nice! Can't say I've done any of those yet, it's usually either city or highway (60-70mph)
This has been debunked here already for the most part. While driving habits and things like tire size do affect mpg, there is quite a drastic range...
Update: only a couple weeks and a couple of tanks in with the new(er) truck but my to-date average is 14.8mpg 19L/100km, compared to 10.9mpg 25.9L/100km. Extremely satisfied now, especially running 3.92's with larger tires than the old one and getting a 4mpg improvement!
To put that in...
Hey all, recently picked up this truck that I love but it has some odd stains on the rims, almost like a cleaner was sprayed on them previously when they were still hot. If I realllly scrub with a microfiber and APC it starts to wear off but would not rather spend a full day scrubbing wheels...
I know this thread is old but I was just searching out of curiosity. I’m running my AT3’s are 35F/32R opposed to the 40 the shop put in them and it’s quite the difference in ride quality. If we ever get a dry day (no snow) here I’ll do the chalk test but right now I’m very happy with the ride...
Installed these Husky mudflaps on the front last night. My previous white truck had a tonnnnnn of stone chips in the rockers and even the rear fender flares, so I'm hoping that this alleviates a bit of that. I'm content with the look - it's neither an aesthetic upgrade or downgrade imo.
I had this one on a previous truck and really liked it. I did find it leaked more than my current solid Bison one, but had a good look to it. I did however get too close with the pressure washer (on a 10 degree angle maybe) and it affected the texture and left subtle stripes that were never able...
I'm happy to be rid of my 2020 eTorque. The vast majority of trucks here are fine with it, but then theres the few that are not and it is a piece that is 100% integral to the truck functioning at all, so when it goes bad, its bad - unlike a mechanic part wearing out and needing to be replaced...
one thing to keep in mind with the hellwig is that it's purpose is to increase stability through corners, but if you live in an area with rough roads and lots of pot holes it can make straightline driving more stiff/less comfortable. I'm torn because I want to reduce body roll but I also don't...
it's just long enough that it can dangle just past the fender liner and I can plug it in through the wheel well without popping the hood. I started by popping the hood but very impractical and time consuming. I really only plug it in if its -5C or below tbh, and still give it 30-60seconds to...
I'm in Eastern Ontario and I can only think of a handful of hills haha! It makes southern ontario look mountainous(and warm) 😆 funny enough, my wifes dream is to live in a house on top of a hill so we always talk about moving just for that aspect! Temperatures were pretty close when I was doing...
Well, fortunately the dealer that I purchased through had a great exchange policy for vehicles with issues, so tomorrow the current truck plagued with issues is being exchanged with a 2022 model that I've had in my possession for a thorough test drive period for the last five days. The one going...
He said the mileage he got and you said you've observed the same lol, but I get it now that you've reworded/clarified what you were trying to say (y) regardless, you mentioned earlier 21mpg at 70mph in the winter which is 5mpg better than mine at the exact same speed with the exact same...
that's wild. Happy for you!
I've got the psi set at the door sticker! Ya, I looked into some threads on winter gas across a bunch of forums, as well as the temperatures effect on mileage, and figure about a loss of 2mpg, which would get me up to 13mpg. Yay, only 9 more mpg to go lol!
It seems...
UPDATE: Picked it up from the dealer tonight, they agreed that the mileage was outside the range of "acceptable" variances between trucks and couldn't pinpoint an issue so they did a full reset of the ECU. The only thing they could say is we'll have to wait and see, and report back. Very well...
Totally agreed. In this case, it started with a call, and then followed up with an email in bullet point form(stuff in bold and/or underlined where important, really as clear as you could make it), then pulled out that exact list while the advisor rattled it all off back to me before leaving it...
