I've done something like this in my 2003 Tundra using unistrut, though I don't use cleats in the rail. I do use the unistrut nuts to fix items directly to the rail, including the L brackets for use with unitstrut, which provide a decent mounting point. FYI The Mopar rails are mounted with just a...
Any luck on this? I found this thread by searching groaning. Mine 2019 with about 27000 just recently started doing the same thing, I only notice it when I back out of my driveway. I am going to ask about it at next service but wondering what you have come up with.
I have an 2.5M awning I currently run on my Tundra. The thought is to use quick disconnect on the mounts mounts and be able to use on either until for a while. I've got the ARB bracket, and have exactly the same thoughts regarding under vs over. I'd prefer under if possible, it will all come...
This thread inspired me back in the end of June. Due to supply chain issues and "Design changes" on my part, I just now have everything in place. I previously had a Smartcap on order, ordered a Softopper and Adarac Pro and cancelled the Smartcap. Totally different beast, but the biggest thing I...
I agree that the Wildpeak AT3WA are not the same as the aftermarket AT3W. Different tread pattern, less tread depth and a lower tread wear rating. After about 16,000 miles, it seems to me like they are wearing pretty quickly.
Has anyone received a cap lately? How's the backorder situation? I recently cancelled an order I had placed in May. I just could not see waiting until end of September/October. I was really excited about the SmartCaps. had been following since early on, trying to decided on the details, and then...
Installed mine today, after having them for a few weeks. Also took the opportunity to remove the dealer logo'd and installed mud flaps. Probably be replacing with Husky's soon. Liner install was not bad. Took me a bit on the first side to figure out how to get it behind the sheet metal lip, but...
I have the decked drawers. I really like them. Right now it is under a tonneau. Room on drawers under cover for most things, and can flip cover up for bigger things. I did not do the locks, the drawers are secure with the tailgate up. I do have some of the decked boxes, which are nice because...
I am close to pulling the trigger on this. By the time I price a topper with windoors and everything else I'd add, the price difference is not that much more than the competition. Well, it is still expensive, but not as bad. Another thing is lead time. RSI told me they are in stock and ready to...
I have the Tyger soft trifold on my truck. Fits nice, price was great, I have never observed a drop of water in the truck bed, but I am sure a little gets in, but has not been a problem for me. Been on for about 6 months.
Very happen with mine. Been on since September. I have taken long freeway drives in the pouring rain and regular trips through the car wash. Really have not noticed water inside to any extent. Well worth the cost as far as I am concerned.
I thought they looked familiar. Was on my short list. While I don't need/want a slider, I'd rather not have brackets below the step to get hung up on when off road. I think I have settled on these, now if they would just become available...
Today added a Tyger T3 soft folding cover, just to conceal the drawer system below and keep a little rain out. Yes it is an inexpensive cover and a little water is sure to get in, but I am happy. Main goal was just a little concealment over the decked drawer system and easy to remove.
