Display said Shift to Park when Driving???
So my dealership is saying it is an issue with the PCM and they are confident that resetting or replacing the PCM will resolve the issue. Nope cleaned my throttle body still been happening. Swapped out the crankshaft sensor still happened, it’s been at the dealership for about a week and they still don’t know what’s wrong. It’s pretty clearly a defect in the software. Ford just did a big recall cause of something similar. Not sure...- anthonya2006

Transmission falling out of Drive on downshift, blinking, displaying "shift to P" and back
Been following this thread for a while, I have a 2017 rebel ram 1500 same issue, will be driving along and it just kills the acceleration and says shift to P.
