Just wanted to say thanks to all who have responded to this thread. It was very helpful to me yesterday. Battery in my 2019 gave up the ghost. Went with the H8 AGM battery from Walmart, and everything is good to go. Sad thing is that I just changed the battery in my wife's 2014 Grand Cherokee...
Glad to find this post. This happened to me a couple of weeks ago -the first and only time. Over 14k miles on the truck. I had left church and was a few miles down the road, coming to a stop for a right hand turn. Took about a minute to come on. If it happens again, I'll definitely take it to...
My wife has air suspension on her '14 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I liked that feature so much that it was a must on my RAM. I live in Arkansas, so I don't have to worry about deep freeze temps or anything like that. I really like having it. My wife is short, and my mom is too, so it's nice to be able...
Finally got my A.R.E. topper after 8+ months of waiting on them to release the CX-REVO. Very pleased with the outcome! While I think the Z2 series is probably a "better" topper, the curved back glass that follows the contour of the tailgate makes this topper an easy choice for me. I also like...
Against all odds, my A.R.E. CX-REVO finally arrived at my local dealer this week. Just had it installed this morning. Very happy with how it turned out.
Glad to see this comment. I just rolled over 13K and have noticed my mileage is starting to improve a little. I'm a "spirited" driver, especially since I upgraded the exhaust to the Magnaflow Catback system. I drive mostly in town, but a fair mixture. Like one of the other posts, about 70-75 is...
If you want a set of lightly used US Visors, PM me. I found some Mopar ones at my local dealership and swapped out. The US Visors are very nice. I had them on my truck for around 3 months. I'll make someone a deal on them.
There are a couple of benefits to them....one is that you can crack the windows when it's raining and not get water inside the truck. They also offer a little extended sun visor on the side windows. The biggest one for me is that when I park my truck in the parking lot at work (or wherever) in...
The US Visor ones - at least the front ones - would never fall down. They are wedged in place, and couldn't fall. No tape or anything on them. Same with the Mopar ones. Matter of fact, they looked almost identical, with the exception of the RAM logo and the cut out for the mirrors.
The rear...
I had originally installed a set of US Visors on my truck, but found recently that the power fold mirrors hit them when folding. Was at the dealership today, and asked if they might, by some stroke of luck, have some of the Mopar Visors in stock....and lo and behold, they did have ONE set in...
I know this post is a few months old, but thought it might be worth mentioning that the new Mopar branded Vent Visors are cut away so that the mirrors do not hit. I just bought a set at my local dealership today and replaced the US Visors I had previously installed. Probably could have modified...
Changed mine for the first time this evening @ 4987 miles. Went with Mobil 1 5w30 and a WIX filter. Even with my newer vehicles and full synthetic oils, I've never felt comfortable going more than about 5000 miles, even though the manufacturers recommend more. However, after dealing with an oil...
About 1000 miles on my Magnaflow and I still like it, but I do notice the pop and burble sounds it makes. I think I notice them more on deceleration when MDS is active.
I received the email about the survey from FCA earlier this week and this is one thing I mentioned. My wife's 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee has this option, and it's really nice to have it automatically lower to the entry/exit mode. It's not a big deal for me, but my wife is short, so I have to...
