Installed the TVD vinyl on my wheels last fall...Good quality and only one came off over the winter. That was likely my fault because I used a pressure washer to clean the wheels and probably peeled an edge. They send extras so not a big deal. Make sure you clean the wheel thoroughly and use a...
this x2...I bought the FleaBay swing case knockoffs and they work just fine...They're half the price of the name brand ones...I think I saw them for $105 shipped each. Also, most 4th gen bed-related items will fit on a 5th gen bed. I'm using the Peragon tonneau cover I bought for my 2012 Ram on...
For all those who haven’t bought one yet, Mopar Wholesale parts sent me a discount code for any all future orders, no expiration & can be used on anything.
Code is: TY21
Ordered one from Mopar Wholesale Parts on 06/19...$38.69 shipped. USPS tracking shows it SHOULD be delivered by 06/28.
FYI, Metal Specs Retro Red Dupli-color paint matches the Rebel's interior red trim perfect if your looking for color ideas for the silver ring on the stock switch.
I have the motofab 2.5" leveling spacers on front, 1.5" spring perch spacers on the rear and have 2" wheel spacers all around. I run the stock Rebel wheels with 295/70/18 tires (34.25") and had to do some slight inner fender trimming. I attribute the trimming to the 2" wheel spacers.
I...
Mufflex muffler delete...our 5th gens have additional resonators over 4th gens so a muffler delete is reasonable. Barely any cabin noise at normal operating speeds/RPMs. Really wakes up when you get on it though...it’s the way our rams should sound imho.
$179 for the mufflex you can install...
Hey, what’s the difference in height from front to back? I ask because I have the motofab 2.5” spacers already installed on the fronts and have yet to install the rears (still in box on my workbench). My rear spacers measure 1.75” (not 1.5”) so I’m wondering if there’s settling, etc. I like the...
Did it more for the stance. I believe spacers actually give more potential for rubbing seeing that it pushes the wheel out more (bigger radius). Seeing that you’re already leveled, you should be fine.
I'm running 295/70/18 tires with the stock Rebel wheels, 2" hubcentric spacers and a 2.5" Motofab leveling kit. Stance is great! I did have to remove the small OE mud flaps and some minor trimming of the inner fenders but no biggie.
Yup...bought 2 that were specifically for 4th gen that are currently in my 5th gen Rebel. Beds are the same. I even have my 4th gen Paragon bed cover on my current 5th gen.
bought two of the fleabay knockoff versions for less than what one of the name brand costs. They work great.
FYI, 4th gen versions work on 5th gens just fine.

To be honest, spacers could have been part of the issue but I never ran my setup without them.
If I had to guess, I’d say the Removal of the spacers would probably eliminate the rubbing. The rubbing was very slight so a smaller turning radius would help.
Got the same bins at menards...$10 each. Bought a ratcheting cargo bar from harbor freight for $11 with 20% coupon. All in for ~$35.
I have 2 generic undercover swing cases (driver & passenger side) as well. $110 each shipped on flea bay.
FYI, you can paint over plasti-dip with regular paint and even clearcoat it. While it makes removing it a little more difficult (i.e. harder to peel off), it is still 100% removable without affecting your original paint. I've done it on wheels, center caps, front grills and it works/looks...
My experience with what works:
295/70/18 tires, stock Rebel wheels, 2” spacers, stock ride height - needed to take off small mud flap and cut off metal bracket that held it on. Still rubbed (slightly) on liner at full wheel Lock.
Same scenario above with 2.5” level on front - no rubbing at all...
I considered the Decked system for my Rams but decided against it for a couple reasons. Something you might want to consider as well...
#1 - I wasn't too fond of only having roughly 12" of bed space from the top of the decked to the bottom of my paragon cover. Doesn't leave much room for...
I love mine...use it often and works well every time! Can't go wrong for under $35 shipped.
Honestly, it's only 3-4 very small holes with some sheet metal screws. The Bedliner on my tailgate virtually hides them. A small dab of silicone sealer on the screw head would easily thwart any risks of...
