I've finally attempted this method, but first for me on my 2019 limited, the purple/grey wire does nothing (tryed everything) even other wires just in case, got nothing, (could not find correct wire). Even tried the alligator clip on the ones I thought might be it , no door light ajar light was...- DLIMITED
