I did my break in by following the old rules. I changed engine oil after 600 miles or 1000 km. Now my engine runs great, and gas mileage is good. I didn't follow that on my previous truck, and it ended up running great but gas mileage sucked. Right now my V8 Hemi gives me better gas mileage than...
Hahahaha! Dude, I do use my truck as a truck! Soon enough you're gonna see my truck being scratched up from backcountry. It's not gonna be a pavement princess!
I read a thread here regarding skid plate for engine bay. Someone mentioned that he wanted to make a plate out of ABS sheet, exactly the same idea I had. I also don't want to remove the air dam. I don't need anything heavy duty but something that can stop tall weeds and branches getting into the...
So today I finally managed to install the transmission skid plate. I had to drill two holes to install two M10 rivnuts on a cross member first. Learned from Youtube. Now my Ram is fully protected and ready for backcountry!
I just bought my '23 new Big Horn two months ago. After having read all those posts regarding leaking third brake light and rear window, I started paying attention to that area and underneath the rear seats. Given the fact that my truck had been sitting outdoor on dealership's lot for over a...
I got my tow hooks from Amazon too. There're things I got are OEM like the skid plates. I'm not a serious offroader, but that pair of tow hooks should be enough to pull someone out of snow or mud. I don't expect to hang my truck upside down with the tow hooks anyway.

You can google mopar parts online stores and look for those parts:
Transfer Case Skid Plate 68266720aa
Front Skid Plate 68598156aa
Fuel Tank Skid Plate 33 gallon 52029964ad
Skid Plate Bracket 68303523ab
Skid Plate Cross-Member...
Ooops, sorry I didn't read your sig carefully! Sorry I can't help much. But you can get on McKinney Chrysler website. They will provide the part numbers you need. But I will hold on to those bolts and nuts until you receive your plate and cross members. But no matter what you will need a bunch...
Yes I will. So far I can confirm you will need one cross member only, the plate and the bracket. I'm talking about my 33 gallon tank.
But the other parts are all over the place on mopar's diagram. They are not accurate. Once I successfully installed the plate, I will post a detailed breakdown...
It's a no name brand 'cargomaster'. I purposely stayed away from steel racks. This one is aluminum. It's not rated as heavy duty as steel racks, but for my purposes it's plenty. BTW I'm in Canada, and the rack was sold in Canadian Tire for $200 CDN. You do need to drill to get it installed.
