Got go rhino v3 series. Aluminum with 600lb per step rating. Couldn't find many pics out there so I just took a chance with them. I really love them and super easy to install. I will add a side view when i get a chance.
Old thread but wanted to say thanks for all the tips. Did first oil change today. Took over an hour which is pretty sad but i wanted to take my time and do it right with little or no mess.
I used the two ziploc bag technique taking off the filter-what seemed like 1mm at a time. I used a...
Just got back from an 1800 mile road trip to nm. Best i was getting was a little over 20mph when it was long stretches of level highway. I calculated this with (google map) mileage and gallons at the pump cause my speedo isn't recalibrated. My speedo varies from 1mph up to 4mph off (at 75mph)...
I'll find out this weekend. But unfortunately i won't have a comparison because i didn't do any highway driving the first couple months i owned this vehicle. The city mpg was pretty bad as it was. I'm sure a large part in due to me not having a lot of miles for the computer to work with and...
I guess this is a month overdue. Got a 24 1500 quadcab BH 4x4 night edition. So far i love it! Only mods included LED bulbs for the foward lights and signals, 285/60r20 Falken Wlidpeak at4s, and a bilstein level kit with coils and shocks.
I'm a jeeper 1st, own 2 (TJ and JLUR). Haven't had...
I'll check them out. I have rokblokz on my jeep and they are great and quickly removable. I don't think they are the same on the ram but i was looking at them too
That's what i was leaning towards initially. Now not sure if i go 1 inch or none. It's such a minor difference. But i will be traveling down a 14 mile dirt road often to where im building and want to make sure when i get mud flaps they'll be useful with tires that protrude.
Picked up the truck after getting the bilstein B8-6112 level part #BIL47-293540 (springs and shocks) . Love it! Excellent ride quality! My truck finally looks like a truck and just feels right. I'm still torn on getting the bora 1" spacers. For now I'm good, but the wider stance would...
Looks sharp. Well the bilsteins are being installed in about 3 hours, so that should take care of that! Thx for the info.
Btw what window visors are those?
I know the weight can be concerning to some. The LT285/60s are 63lbs each. I think that's 15-17lbs heavier that what came on the truck (which are basically passenger car tires! ), but it's not really super noticeable to me. i have 315/70r17s on my jeep at 75lbs each and that's a 3.6L v6...
By the way, the sidewalls of the AT4s look more aggressive imo than the at3s i have on my jeep. The Falken Wildpeak is blocky and raised more. And they ride great! Everyone freaks out over E load tires but i have them on my jeep too and don't notice any harshness. My truck ones run at 39...
They definitely don't stick out much if at all with my factory rims. From the front it kind of looks like it but it really doesn't. It really depends on the angle when i take the Pic 😂. Ill see how i like it after the level and decide on the 1" boras.
Ill look after work. So the 275/55s from the factory were 11.2 (i think) wide. These say 11.4 so in not too surprised in them not hitting the ucas, but i wasn't certain. If you have 275/60s, the specs on those are 10.9 wide from what i recall. So that would be roughly 1/4" wider on each side...
Ok, picked up the truck from discount. 285/60r20 at4s seem to fit great with no rubbing. Nearly identical spacing between ucas as before (tire measurements would say id lose .1" which isn't noticeable).
Getting the level kit on tomorrow, but it already looks so much better without the...
Well i think I'm just going to have to be a guinea pig with this one. I went ahead and ordered the tires. Im thinking they "should" clear uca's just barely, but ill probably have to put in the spacers just to be safe cause discount tire won't install spacers but they will take them off...
Ok, New here. I'm a long time jeeper. Just got my truck a couple months ago. Bighorn 4x4 night edition, no ORP. All stock right now. Searched and found a lot of helpful posts but I'm specifically deciding between LT295/55r20 (33x12.2) vs LT285/60r20 (33.5x11.4) in falken wildpeak at4s. Im...
