I used scrap metal pieces on the inside of the underside of the bed rail and a washer a nut under it. The setup sandwiches the factory sheet metal fairly well.

I added a bedrack, rock sliders, vice design winch mount and winch, and a transmission skid plate and even before loading my RTT found that I'm about 300 pounds shy of my GVWR. All that extra metal added up quickly. I'm a bit disappointed to say the least.

I reached out to Marcus at Dethloff MFG and asked him to look at producing something to fill the void between the front bumper and the crossmember, said he is pretty busy these days but would look at it the next time a 5th gen ram was in his shop.

Upgraded from Westin HDX steps to White Knuckle Off-road sliders. Just got them on today and couldn't be more pleased.

I used 3/8" diamond plate rubber.

I built my rack out of 2" square tubing. It bolts to each corner by removing the plastic caps at each corner and utilizing existing factory holes. Allows full use of the ramboxes and a backflip mx4 cover.

I used some scrap metal bent to an "L" on each side and bolted them to the brace that is behind the active shutters.

First time out with the family to camp. Trip went great other than a bit of damage getting to our spot. The trail (Metberry Gulch, Colorado) was much tougher than expected and ended up scraping and bending the mess out of my steps, losing a fender flare, and breaking an exhaust hanger. Got most...

Fun outing that ended with camping by a river

Nice work. I'm taking the family out next week for a couple camping outings to get some use out of my rtt for the first time. Throw another picture or two up after you get a tent.

I used 2" tubing with 1/8" walls. Total overkill but I figured I would rather have it too stout than not support whatever weight might end up on top.

You can see where it meets up with the curved factory skidplate.

I haven't changed out yet. It has plenty of cutouts to allow easy access though.

Fantastic product! Marcus was great to work with. If you have any questions with install just holler at me. I got the prototype so I didn't get any instructions, put the brackets on the transmission crossmember, then lift the skidplate into place.
