Sorry if I'm not much help but whenever I'm working on my truck and need the doors open I try to turn off interior lights and reduce as much battery load as possible. Radio off, Climate off, ect... I even hook up a 1 amp battery maintainer when I need to do things to the truck that I know will...
Me too. I was very patient and went slow and I have small hands. Went by feel mostly. I still had large bruises on each of my forearms develop afterwards. Totally worth it.
Forgot to mention changing the bulbs was not very easy IMO. I have smallish hands and got my arms bruised up pretty good just reaching in there and working by feel. Just be patient and go slow.
If I recall correctly my house has two garage door openers. The left garage door opener I was unable to program into homelink borh for the Subaru and Ram but the right garage door I was able to program with no problems.
Looking at the top of the battery there is nothing that says AGM or Absorbed Glass Mat and looking up the part number on the top label pulls up hits on the internet that also say nothing about AGM. That being said assuming my truck was built in 2020 I think I will just look to replace it this...
I was trying to find information about the battery (12v) in the truck. I was trying to find out if it would benefit me to connect my Noco 1 amp from time to time for no other reason than I drive short trips and my truck sits for more than a week at a time in the summer when I'm riding the...
I also have found the bulbs on the lasfit site. They were a PIA to swap them out through the wheel wells but I did it. Just go slow and be very patient using feel only. They worked amazing and could never go back. I did use a different brand on the fogs and they look good to.
I was also worried...
Thanks for the info guys I've learned a lot. I have 2021 Bighorn 5.7 etorque that I bought used. Much like the XM radio this will not be worth it to me. I live 5.4 miles from work and ride the motorcycle as much as possible so I usually do much less than 5000 miles a year and it makes subs less...
Friend dloaded Ford app for his truck sounded cool and now he can remote start among other things. I never tried the app mostly because I already had remote start. But I wanted to try it out.
Go through the process last 8 of vin. email. password. Blah Blah Blah. Then my truck pops up on the...
I've noticed that under light braking there is a non linear feeling in the deceleration. It seems like slight changes in brake pedal pressure brings an uneven feeling of deceleration. I think this is the regenerative braking kicking in and out. Has anyone else noticed this? It's not distracting...
I replaced the foglights with some expensive LED bulbs they work great. Did the lowbeam and highbeams with Lasfit. They work great. No codes. (yet LOL) The lowbeams were a pain in the but to change out though.
I need 12 foot lumber and have 5'7" bed. Has anyone ever loaded 12 foot lumber, with the tailgate down of course, and had any problems. I'd plan on using plenty of ratchet straps and a red flag. I'm basically wondering if I need to buy the harbor freight bed extender that fits in the receiver...
Maybe I'm missing something but I watched a youtube video on that cover and based on how I think the MFT works I don't know how they would not be compatible with each other. Maybe ask the cover manufacturer because you'd think they would know. That being said I have the Tyger T3 and regular...
