    Alpine 9.1 - Why bother?

Thumbs up on the Alpine system. It's probably the best stock system of any vehicle I've ever owned. I swapped out the front corners for the Kicker DSC3504s and lived with them for a few days, but found the highs too overwhelming and even hissy at times, depending on the source material. I...

    Choosing Best Tonneau Cover

I picked up this American Tonneau Tri-Fold 66208 from Amazon Warehouse Deals for $68 a couple days ago. While I'm sure it's not the best cover on the market, I'm pretty happy with the purchase. You guys might check AWD as there were some other good deals on tonneau covers.

    Loud Noise on Startup

At some point, yes. I suffer from dealer-phobia though. Seems like every time I take it to the dealer it comes home with a new problem. For instance, last week it was there because of a factory/assembly quality problem and it was given back to me with a scratched-up fender flare. I was...

    Loud Noise on Startup

It just happened on mine while I was out running errands. It sounds like it's coming from the rear to me, not 100% sure at this point, though.

anyone else's bed move independently from the truck?

All pickup trucks (for a very long time) do this. As teh frame rails flex you will see this independent movement of the cab and bed.

    Loud Noise on Startup

Add me to the "startup clunk/clank" group. A little less than 2 weeks off the lot, and a little over 200 miles on the odometer. Troubling.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Here are a few I quickly snapped in the driveway (cuz it's Monday, and I'm unmotivated.) If you want more, or different angles, let me know. I'll snap some more on the way to work.

What did you do to your Ram today???

I got them delivered to Cali for $830 (I believe MSRP is $995) from Bam Wholesale Parts, $750 plus $80 shipping. That's the best I could find. They sit about 4" below the door opening.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Installed the Mopar off-road style running boards on my Rebel. Or as I call them "old man steps"

Should RAM ditch the knob shifter ?

I like the knob for all the reasons stated in previous posts, but I'll admit, I do find myself turning it back and forth sometimes, even though there's a indicator light above the gear label (only had my truck for a few days and it's my first knob!) . I like the auto-park feature as sometime I...

    Air Suspension was awful off-road

I had the same feeling about the air suspension in my WK2 Trailhawk. It was much too soft for off-roading and bottomed out easily. I specifically avoided it when buying my new 1500 rebel. (The WK2 was the trade-in.)

    Post your Rebel pics!

Hi, new to the forums. I just picked her up two days ago. Without a doubt, the nicest truck I've ever owned, especially the interior. Even blows away my 1st gen Raptor IMHRO. The 12" UConnect screen with the Alpine 9+sub system is awesome. 1st Mods: Rough Country 2" leveling kit Mopar...
