agree, their customer service is very good. They also told me they had a meeting yesterday, no more Ram windshields, they dodged a bullet on this one and don't want to take a chance, even though they did the right thing with the soak rope. They were the only ones in my area that I talked to...
Wow, this turned out interesting. Yes I understood the risk, and they did take precautions. They also took care of it. They took it back yesterday, got it in their shop and got some heat directly on the module. Kept it overnight in their heated space and I picked it up today. All is good...
space heater in place right now. also went back to tint shop and they have taken my vin number and issues and contacting a dealer.. they will make it right if it does not sort itself out. they also offered to leave truck overnight in their heated space..
me too, but I have been in and out of it driving several times.. It is so cold here, 18 degrees as I type, that I am hoping that does not hold it up any.
Got my windshield re-tinted Saturday. Same shop that did it the first time, they used soak rope and towels. However, when I got in afterwards, no steps, blind spot, radio, front windows, air suspension, power locks.. At the moment, I still do not have power steps, front windows will not go...
over the last couple of weeks, I have had 3 or 4 failure codes. Since then, the items I have experienced have been:
1. Radio would not turn off after shutting down truck and opening door. Would eventually after a couple of minutes after getting out.
2. Radio would start an annoying buzzing...
I could see as an emergency, yes. I wish Ram would adopt something similar to Ford with the keypad. I loved that feature, could leave the fob in the vehicle and not worry about it. could always get in via the keypad..
Was a great feature while playing ball or golf, no worries about losing fob
I get it all the time too. I have had other vehicles listed in my app, however this one specifies the Ram, with the current mileage. I hook up an OBD code reader and nothing shows up. If I ever have a reason to take it in, I will just have the dealer look at it, but nothing has happened so...
from what I understand you have to take the card out and put it in behind the door handle to unlock, then put it in the wireless charger to start. If that is the case, what is the point. Would rather have the fobs and never take it out of pocket to unlock and start.
Have done a few things over the past couple months and week.. First, had to get new wheels as my passenger side front and rear met their demise on a dark, rainy, foggy morning. I also replaced tips with 5 inch ones, and painted my LIMITED and RAM badges B5 blue. Wheels are 20x9 0 offset...
2 Levels, one at the front bumper, one at the lowered tailgate, measure between the 2.. best way to do it
Not sure where you are, but here in MD have to get a custom garage to get a full size crew cab of any manufacturer to fit.
Anyone getting a random email from Ram Service saying the Malfunction Indicator Light is coming on. I have gotten several of these and have no idea why. Light is not on, hook up a code reader and nothing showing. A couple of times I got the gas light, but most of the time nothing is lit up on...
thanks for all of the replies, this was indeed a false alarm. As I was in a meat coma after leaving the local Brazilian steakhouse, for some reason my fogs did not come on when starting up like usual. Since they were not on, they were in turn light mode and I happened to be turning left when...
I have not had a chance to look, and think I know the answer. My passenger led fog is out, I am assuming it is a sealed system. Anyone have this problem and is it covered. 6500ish miles and only had it since Sep 2023.. Going in for free first oil change soon so I want to have some ammo...
