Lol, “so you will you will consider this major purchase if I incentivize it enough to make it worthwhile, but you won’t agree to pay exorbitant prices for my frivolous, borderline bogus features that you don’t want or need???”
Why yes, yes I will if you actually would like to sell me something.
13% dealer discount is solid. You could potentially get a TDM email code from ramtrucks.com good for another $1k and an affiliate discount with tread lightly worth ~$500 - $800. That would be about as good as realistically possible from what I’ve seen.
What’s the breakdown of discounts and incentives? $61k on a $79.5k MSRP is good even on a ‘23. You’re probably not going to find much better than that.
Final stats from my ‘24 Limited build ordered from Mark Dodge on 9/5 and picked up on 12/27:
MSRP locked in at order: $81,960
Actual MSRP at delivery: $83,460
Dealer discount: ($10,245)
Affiliate discount: ($717)
National Retail Cash Incentive: ($4,500)
Southwest BC discount: ($1,000)

Yea, it was pretty irritating. I took it to one of dealers in my area this morning and they were able to adjust it so it’s good to go now thankfully. I’ll have to get some touch up paint so that I don’t have any rust issues in the future, but overall not a bad outcome. Just lost about 3 hours of...
So I picked up my 2024 earlier this week and have noticed that the top lip of the tailgate doors rub pretty hard metal on metal whenever I close them. It takes extra effort to close and make a terrible clunking sound. This happened at the dealer when I picked it up but I thought I hadn’t firmly...
Update from MD is that the train should hit the railyard in Port Allen around the 18th. From there it could be from 3 days up to 3 weeks to get on the lot.
That’s my understanding as well based on my current MD order. The MSRP is also locked from order regardless of whether you use incentives from order date or delivery date.
Good news for anyone planning to buy or take delivery on a ‘24 in December. The cash allowance incentive went up to $5,500 compared to $4,500 last month and $3,000 before that.
