Ok got it working on mine. 22 1500 lonestar with the 8.4" UC5. Used the parts listed here and got some connectors from cskindt on here! Followed the instructions written by cskindt and pretty much got it on the first try. Not sure if it matters but I figured signal is red and common is black...

So finally got around to towing the trailer. In auto, the system seems to switch between 20 and 30 foot trailer. Not seeing a manual option for length except max. Seemed to work but I didn't test out the actual blind spot warning. Just didn't have any errors.

I also have the Start-X and I also installed the CL6 telematics module. For the most part it works well but after installing an aftermarket shock sensor from addashocksensor I have been having intermittent issues where the vehicle remote starts and then immediately shuts down. Trying to work...

So with the system verified working (see above post on details of my install) I turned on the trailer bsm and so far haven't had any issues with the setting in UC set to auto. I tow a 12 ft trailer once or 2x a month so I'll report back after the next time I pull the trailer.

Just got done installing everything according to instructions found here and wanted to add something I hadn't seen in any of the instructions so far. When inserting pins into the XY400 connector, the correct orientation is for the "top" side of the terminal to face the front of the vehicle...

Thanks. I actually ended up finding the right connector on amazon for the stock horn. Came in a set of male and female with pigtails. I had the old wiring harness I made for a set of hella supertone horns I had on my last truck so was able to save some time. Essentially I used the 12v signal...

Hoping OP still subscribe to this thread but how did you tap into the factory horn wires. Was planning on going to the relay but realized we don't have a horn relay. Guessing it just goes through the bcm now. Was hoping not to modify the factory harness.
