I purchased the 900070. This would be used in conjunction with the connector that is used with the FitCam. So you would connect one end to the mirror then the add the FitCam connector. Hide the wires and both have the correct power without splicing anything.
From my experience you will bringing it back. There is most likely a loose connection somewhere that is not letting the system call the 'mothership' and get an update. Mine took 3 trips and a month at the dealership to fix.
It appeared to be good for a couple of weeks, but it is happening again. They took about the truck and checked all connections and reset the system. It is not occurring often enough to bring it back in. Everything I have read it needs the box replaced. I might open a case with the mfg. as...
I purchased connected services for mine and I am seeing the same issue. Scheduled for my second dealer visit in two weeks this Thursday. Great truck other than this.
I had mine done with my first oil change / tire rotation at the dealer a couple weeks ago. No issues. Can't tell a difference before and after. Truck runs the same.
