2024 5.7 et cold start issues

My last trip on the 20th they did a cam and crank relearn, stating the misfires did not show on the scanner after that. However when I picked it up it started rougher than it ever has.

2024 5.7 et cold start issues

It’s due to all the frustrations of the crappy service. That’s all I was getting at. I’ve been to three different dealers. However it sounds like an issue across all dealers, makes and models. No one cares anymore.

2024 5.7 et cold start issues

Update: drove 40 minutes one way to a different dealer and have them check out the Ram. They had it for two days. When they called they stated that on the scanner they saw many misfires occurring. They did a cam and crank sensor relearn because they also noticed a recall for and software update...

2024 5.7 et cold start issues

Same issue/concern still. Anyone in Wisconsin have luck with any Ram service centers? Pretty crappy service around me, they act like I am an inconvenience and won’t even look at this issue with no CEL or stored codes. I’ve had so much trouble that I am about to try and get rid of my Built to...

2024 5.7 et cold start issues

Also have this issue, 2022 Big Horn, built to serve. It has stalled out completely a couple times, then will start fine. It has been doing it since my trip to Texas and back to Wisconsin I think? But definitely since I had it at the dealership for an oil change once we got back. I do not have...

    Mold/mildew smell from vents

Thank you, I’ve used BG products when I worked on cars but didn’t know they had this! Made an appointment for the truck but I think I will get a can of this to have.

    Mold/mildew smell from vents

Agreed, stopped by to see my friend at the dealership then spoke with the Master Tech I used. The tech is awesome, good guy and knows his stuff, the service advisors though…whole other thing. Appointment for the 21st of June.

    Mold/mildew smell from vents

But should we have to ‘accommodate’ by leaving things in our brand new trucks to take smells away not from us using them yet? Last night after sending this I went to our church softball game, when I went to leave my infotainment was black, wouldn’t turn on. Tried doing a hard reset and the Ram...

    Mold/mildew smell from vents

Yup, pretty sure I first noticed it around 2,000 miles. It is making me super frustrated for $60,000 Ya know

    Mold/mildew smell from vents

Just pulled all my mats and checked the floor after coming home and putting AC on full blast. Smell wasn’t as noticeable today, but still a hint of it. Floors were all dry, so I checked the condensation drain, no dripping and the wall wasn’t wet either. Odd thing is it’s blowing cold air out of it…

    Mold/mildew smell from vents

I have a ‘22 Ram Built To Serve that since new has had a mold/mildew smell from vents, but now it’s getting super gross smelling. Replaced the cabin air filter, didn’t change, keeps coming back. I noticed the other day while going through the car wash that the smell came through the vents while...
