What did you do to your Ram today???

The ride has dramatically improved. And it didn’t drive bad, per se, with the Motofab spacers. But now with the Bilstein coils and shocks, the rear doesn’t sway as much on turns and when going over railroad tracks, bridges etc, it’s not bouncy. The shocks and coils return the suspension almost...

Squeaky suspension, what is this part?

https://suspensionmaxx.com/product/SMX-1321L These are a popular upgrade for the wonky factory end links. Just need to confirm your sway bar nut size.

What did you do to your Ram today???

It’s ensures the axle’s lateral location so it doesn’t shift side to side. It’s just beefier and heavier duty than the hollow stocker. Plus i figured I’d add a little color under the truck. Got it for a steal of a price too so didn’t have much to justify. 🤣😂

What did you do to your Ram today???

Sure does look like it in that picture in my previous post, doesn’t it? But there is no load on the suspension as it’s up on the lift in that picture. Once the truck was lowered off the lift the sway bar is parallel under load. 👇🏻

    Clunk in wet conditions

Check your sway bar links. If they haven’t been touched in 133k miles, I’m willing to bet they’re shot. Get under the truck and give a good few jerks and tugs on the sway bar. You shouldn’t get any play at all.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Installed Bilstein B12 rear 1.5” coils and 5100 Shocks to balance out my truck. Prior measurements equated to 1/4” difference from ground to center wheel well height. And occasionally my truck would look squatted depending on parking surface or load. The new rear suspension brings the rake to...

Yes. I believe @theblet did that successfully. Maybe he can chime in and give you a little direction. It might also be on the Ultimate JScan Thread.

    Orp spring part #s

When I say the suspension will settle, I mean it more so in a general way. Not specifically the individual coil spring. But when you take all the weight off the suspension components during install, and then put in new lifted coils, it changes the suspension geometry slightly. So a few miles...

If you say so. Glad it worked out for you.

    Orp spring part #s

Invest in JScan. All you need is the security bypass cable and an ODBII. IIRC, the licensing fee is ~20$ and it’s Apple friendly. And can do everything AlfaODB can do, but with an easier interface IMO

    Orp spring part #s

Don’t forget that the suspension will settle slightly after a few hundred miles.
