If it didn't go below 40 it probably wont. Mine wont go below 40 even at 75 out... But 40 or 41 is good. I took the clamp off today and on the way home from work, an hour drive, it never got below 49. Stayed at 50 most of the time. And its 85 out today. Yesterday with clamped hose it was in the...
I drove today from work and the store was like an hour and a half and stayed solid at 41 degrees and never froze anything. The outside temp was 94! I remember my dad bypassing old heater cores that leaked and never have I heard of anything freezing as part of it. I am almost certain that the AC...
I have the vice grips on as hard as I can squeeze them and with the outside temp at 84 the vents still around 42 with 15 minutes of driving. It seems to works hard to get to 42... Do you think its not going to get in the 30s? Either way its by far better then it was! :)
Do you remember what your outside temp was when you did this shut off valve change ? I'm curious when you got 38 out of your vents what was the weather?

61k sticker price and a 99 cent pair of Needle Nose Vise Grips to pinch the heater hose and now I have AC in Florida... SMH
I think with the all new redesign of the RAM truck and the lovely new 12 inch display they have a few too many software bugs that make it perfect. After all isn't it a...
Soooo.... I just picked up my 2019 RAM 1500 from the dealer as it was there for three days getting a few things fixed. They ONLY thing that they claim they cannot fix is the AC! The temp with the thermometer is what I took before I dropped it off to them. And the other document is what they gave...
So I have never posted to this thread, however, I have been following it since I got my RAM in Sept. of 2018. I instantly noticed the air wasn't as cool as my 2008 Grand marquis or the few vehicles I had prior, including a 1998 RAM 1500! I have always used a temp gauge in one of my vents and...
