2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

I still follow this forum but went over to a '24 GMC 1500 Denali last year when I started having order issues for a new RAM. Anyway, I don't think you're killing the planet you might be saving your truck - who knows for sure. However what the 6.2 GMC gurus are saying is to change oil at about...

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

I gave up on Ram about June after wanting to order for 3 months and had been experiencing the order issues and hearing of the CEL and other issues. My ‘24 GMC 6.2 1500 Denali at 8000 miles is a joy so far. I know they all can have problems but so far so good. Will take a look at 26-27 model RAMs.

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

We've had an inline 6 turbo in the family for years w/o issues and I was looking forward to that in the RAM. No problem keeping that V8 sound for a few more years though. RAM's problems seem to be other issues than the engine itself.

Make no mistake they all have problems.

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

Wanted a '25 very much. Watched the models since January and intending to order in April. The website didn't run consistently, I began hearing of order problems and later the quality problems. I held out hope while beginning to look at other mfgs. With repeated CELs on some I finally went with a...

    2025 Ram 1500 Order Updates

After waiting 6 months to order a Limited (no A Equipment Group) and then when it became available I was so disenchanted with RAM and all the order and delivery date confusion I decided on a '24 Denali 6.2. So far after 1,000 miles I like the truck a lot but miss a few RAM features like the...

    2025 Ram 1500 Order Updates

I went to the dark side several weeks ago. Waited 6 months for the Limiteds to arrive (they always seemed just on the horizon) but the A Group was unavailable, or whatever it was. Even my dealer or his reps could never establish good communication with RAM. Right when the A Group was available...

    2025 Ram 1500 Order Updates

There's no comparison to BMWs order process, website and lack of overall chaos and customer communication. Dealers are in the loop as well.

    2025 Ram 1500 Order Updates

I've had it with Stellantis. One excuse or none at all for 6 months. I understand the A Group is now available and I've gotten anywhere from 4 months to 6 months on delivery. I got several competitive quotes on my intended Limited Longhorn order the past week and then . . . . . . In the past...

    2025 Ram 1500 Order Updates

Re Limiteds. Just spoke to local dealer in person. He says the A Equipment group is now available and he's already ordered several Limiteds with that group. He claims truck would arrive approximately first part of September, 6-8 weeks. If this is true then the restriction on this A Group is...

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

Ya think? That is ridiculous. Stellantis should have been involved by the dealer shop a long time ago, like after the 2nd or 3rd Cel. Obviously the techs don't know the solution and you have to keep bringing vehicle in at your own inconvenience and stress of owning a new vehicle that should be...

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

I think a lack of continuing ed goes along with poor QA. The entire truck is not different so you’d think even the little guys would be on board given that RAM was showing ‘25 vehicles beginning of year and articles out on the new bus and engines awhile back also. Real professionals are always...

    2025 Ram 1500 Order Updates

Enjoy the vacation anyway. This entire order process is amateur hour (year) for Stellantis. Not sure anyone is really running the store. I’m still waiting to order but now less in a hurry. Everything I hear makes me lose faith in the company but one of these days you’ll have your new vehicle.

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

A lot of industries and occupations have required continuing education. I know BMW and even my Spyder dealer does. I guess Stellantis just hopes for the best and their dealer techs do the best they can with no formal training on new models coming out and common solutions. Dealers don't like...

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

I doubt dealerships share much information and any common issues won't be discovered until Stellantis managers see a developing and widespread issue and address it. I wonder if dealerships are required to notify Stellantis QA folks of problems they are seeing? If not it doesn't bode well for...

Thanks for the information this past few weeks. Indeed you took a very professional approach which resulted in a satisfactory resolution. I learned long ago as you have in your work that keeping records of phone calls, receipts and interactions is the most important thing one can do when...

    2025 Ram 1500 Order Updates

Good news for sure! That must mean the A Equipment group is available for the Limiteds but not sure they are producing any right now. Have held off calling my dealer as I'm thinking there won't be any Limiteds for awhile due to the July factory closure. Don't want the first one off the line so...
