Following up here: after about 3 weeks / 1000 miles I'm happy to say there has been no stalling after the PCM and HCP software updates. Feels like new again. As I'm driving I notice the voltage gauge is rock solid at 14.3V and it doesn't fluctuate like it used to. Also it runs smoother when...
Mine also started doing that a few weeks ago and I notice a number of complaints coming in on this board and others over the past several weeks. I can't help but wonder if it has something to do with how the programming handles the colder weather, slightly aging batteries, winter gas blends...
You did the same speaker swap I did. However I ordered everything from eBay & Walmart discounters. Overall it was cheaper than Crutchfield but if support issues come up I am SOL. I also broke some of those white plastic retainers (part # 6510359AA) and had to order a set and go back & fix the...
Following up, got the truck back today. The dealership applied two software updates, one for the hybrid control processor and one for the PCM. It is running smoother now. I tried to get it to stall going up the driveway and all is well. Keeping fingers crossed this is the fix.
It stalled again yesterday as I was pulling up the driveway at a very low speed. It's about 60' long with a slight incline. I gave it a very small amount of gas to crawl up but it sputtered at about 300 RPM for a half-second before falling on its face. Then it quickly auto-applied the e-brake...
I have 19k miles and mine (V6) just stalled today, while feathering the gas pedal to slowly go straight up a driveway with little room. After it stalled it put itself in park and automatically applied the parking brake. I immediately re-started it without issue.
During today's commute while...
Very minor glitches with mine, but I'm happy with it. It is the 8.4 w/ Nav. And that's integrated with the upgraded 7" gauges, if that means anything. Mine has not lost any presets and works great 99% of the time. Probably about 3 or 4 times since I've owned it (7 months), the wireless...
'22 w/ the 8.4" nav unit, non-ANC here:
Just installed Infinity REF-3032cfx's (3Ω) in the dash. I used the Metra 72-7902 harnesses, cut the positive wires in half and soldered one 25W/5Ω resistor into each (pic below). Then dressed it up with heat-shrink tubing and dropped them in. Very easy...
Man this upgrade would be sweet, but maybe after the warranty expires. It's already getting 23.5 mpg mixed city/hwy commuting (V6), just over 500 miles on a 23 gal tank. The 33 gal would bring that up to over 700 easy. And a lot better range for that one weekend a year I'm towing. Also a...
It sounds like he only upgraded the dash speakers with the Infinity 3032cfx. I got those on order along with 4Ω & 5Ω resistors to tweak it, since it looks like all Infinity Refs are 3Ω. This will be the first project. I have the base 6 speakers on the 8.4" w/ Nav, no ANC. The system isn't...
Never seen an "eco" light on mine. But I've only had it 3 mos, bought it w/ 5k and now it has 8k. Really just learned it and still need to crawl under and study it completely front to back. (Used to work in shops 20 yrs ago) And I'll have to study up on how that eTorque really works. There...
For example I watched the econ gauge cruising ~37 mph, 7th gear, ~1200 rpm. When you *barely* push the gas pedal there is immediate acceleration but about a 1 sec delay for the MPG #s to drop. I know that gauge is programmed but from articles & a Tube video w/ a Mopar spokesman explaining how...
I chose the six because my driving is 1% towing, 9% camping (scouts), 90% commuting or driving around my side of Houston. It's a pavement princess and I will never use the extra V8 power. The majority of time I'm lugging it under 2200 RPM. In my first month of ownership I had the econ gauge...
I would also think the battery. Back in '03 I bought an '03 Intrepid with about 7k miles, and before it hit 10k the CD player had some kind of short that put a slow drain on the battery. Eventually the weak battery caused the trans to go in limp mode with all kinds of codes. Disconnect...
Well I've gone and done it!-- traded in the '22 Ridgeline for a late '22 Ram 1500 Lonestar Quad cab. Bottomline $ difference was $598 so basically an even exchange! Honda had 11k miles ; Ram has 5k miles. It's in perfect shape-- I wish this thing could talk! It was optioned out with almost...
Well I think I nailed down what I'm looking for, then come back & these Uconnect stories worry me. Looking for a Bighorn quad cab V6, 6 seats, 7" gauges, Level 1. Used to have a 4.3" Uconnect in a Journey and that was the best little basic unit. I'd probably be happy with the 5" if I could...
Haha, well I guess the 20% tint serves another purpose.
Honda makes great I-4's and smaller cars, but I don't care for the 3.5 though I'm sure it'll last.
Interior is old Acura-ish quality but it's plain. Backseat size isn't far off from a quad cab. What drives me nuts is the arm rest, even...
Yeah- I bought a new '22 Ridgeline in March '22. Go ahead and poke fun, I can take it. :p At least I got it for MSRP which was a great deal back then. While there aren't any fatal flaws with this thing, it has a ton of irritations. I'll spare the details but I already want to unload it and...
