Just tried it with a Google Pixel and a Samsung S21. Charges (blue light) both. Still using my standard "phone pad" that I modified to accept the charging module. So, it appears there's no extra or conductive material built in to the Ram Charger phone pads.
Anyone have a picture of where the light is located in the console lid? I'd like to add one. Looked at my BH console lid and I don't see any blank or indentation for the light.
Also, from an earlier post, looks like I need a Magnet in addition to the lamp and the harness??
Anyone have a pic of where the light is located in the console lid? I looked at my lid and don't see any blank or depression for the light. I'd like to add the light. I've found the PN; but don't know where to put it. Does the light contain its own switch; or is it constantly on (with...
Thanks. I was aware of the doors closed operation. I moved the iPhone all around looking for the sweet spot. Pretty sure either I got a bad charging module; or there's some type of conductive material built into the plastic 'phone pad" that's not in mine. I modified my standard phone pad to...
Well, stupid me. Researched my Samsung A16 and found out it's not capable to charge wirelessly. Tried my neighbor's iPhone something (which he wireless charges in his car) and still get only the flashing red LED.
I changed only one setting. Not exact wording; but something like LIN BUS active for Wireless Charger. (just type Wireless in the search bar) After I changed that setting, I got the flashing red LED and thought I was done. But, it isn't working. When the phone is actually charging, the LED...
Now I find out that the red blinking LED indicates it's not charging. I've read posts about finding the sweet spot for the phone; but there's no sweet spot that changes the LED from binking red to blue. ??
I found out from Jimmy07 that the 2025 charging modules won't work with 24 and earlier trucks. I gave up on trying to add the dual chargers. Decided to roll my own. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME. Turned out to be a PITA. I should have bought the correct panel. I seperated the "phone pad" from the...
I'm going to try it; but not optimisstic. I think your truck has a different ( export) instrument cluster. I did the "10 second" test on my cluster. It lights up every icon. I did not have the rear fog icon. Maybe changing the Country Code will activate that icon?
Can you post a pic of the back side of the front panel; especially the module mounting area? With and without the module installed, if you can. The front panel I have looks the same as yours; except the icon and "WIRELESS CHARGER" are imprinted on both pads. I have the same module as you...
Wish I would have seen your post earlier. Thought I was smart and bought a dual console panel and a charging module last week. Planned to buy a second module if the 1st one fit. Much cheaper that the kit. Now that I've received them, I see the module will not fit. Thought I was really...
I don't know about cloth seats. With leather; the leather is perforated to allow the air to flow through. Also check your seat foams. With vented, there are 4 or 5 1" holes through each foam. I was able to create the holes with a 1" hole saw.
When I added heated steering wheel to my 22 BH, I had to change the clock spring (steering module). I bought a brand new part with the connectors for the heated steering wheel. It was over $250. Within months, the left turn signal stopped cancelling. I took it to the dealer. Maybe a mistake...
OK, thanks. I didn't want it anyway.. I was just doing it to aggravate my neighbor. He won't buy a new car because he can't get a CD player. I wanted to say "No problem on my Ram!"
