Thanks! I haven't seen a $5K coupon but if there is a code on it I'd be happy to pull up the details and check.
Keep in mind - anything coming from RAM or FCA/STELLANTIS does NOT preclude you from getting a great dealer discount
Bad news sells papers (clicks). It doesn't take a lot of journalistic effort to walk around a lot and show window stickers. EVs are wildly more more expensive, YES and they've been getting around $10K off since inception in most areas. Show me a $90K HD and you can see that it is cheaper...
SHAP has a scheduled downtime 5/20-6/3 estimated.
It was announced in our allocation/supply call 2x in a row (April & March) and maybe before that.
This is not top secret, but wouldn't be available info for a salesperson at the ready.
Steel Storm and Forged Blue metallic are now open for LIMITED 1500s.
Will keep an eye on the rest of the week to see when the other trims open up.
This is a very manual process on their end so I wouldn't be surprised if it is just a slow start of getting it open on the configurator side.
EDIT -...
So I was as surprised as anyone that the 10% rebate dropped off the Laramie & above for 1500s, along with some other eliminations like the loyalty and reduction of the straight cash on Bighorns.
This is all related to the theory that there will be an overall shortening of inventory on 1500s...
Dropped rebates on all 1500s essentially to just $2500, rather than the $4500 that was on some lower trims and 10% that was on upper.
No real granular detail on the "shortage" other than a planned plant closure for a week or two in May.
They're forcasting a SHORTAGE of groundstock on 1500s over the next few months, we were warned about this a month or two ago. 2025 production starts slow (slower than we'd like for sure!) so they (Stellantis) is not feeling the pressure to move groundstock. We have a conference call shortly...

And for reference I would NEVER have thought of leasing, aside from a 4xe, until this experience.
You should have heard me trying to explain this to my father, who buys ALL vehicles cash, tried & true GM family employee with EP... it was as if I was saying the world was flat lol.
Lets say for simplicity he's got a $60K truck with a $30K residual (and he, being also me, in a similar situation)
3 year lease he's got a ~1% APR equivalent.
Take your would-be trade-in, down payment, and any other bonus cash that comes your way and instead of socking it into the truck to...
42 months is the sweetspot right now for 2024 Laramie 1500 Crewcabs.
Rebates are VERY slim when you do the lease because the interest rates ARE very aggressive actually.
Its very hard for a community board to comment on leasing and support/correct without having the WHOLE shebang of info.
Big...
And finally the LIMITED. I was really surprised to see this come out almost dead-even in terms of added items versus price increase. Sometime tell me if I'm missing something?

We've got:
41 of them at body vendor (meaning done with inspection)
35 in Inspection
9 in Production
52 Scheduled to be built between now and 4/1
now all of those are either Bighorn or Laramie though
Yes they have made some significant errors in pricing, as we can see by Stellantis having to re-invoice ALL HD RAMS this month.
However, I am as critical of journalists (if we can use that term any longer) as I am of OEM advertisements - fact check both was the point.
