    Ram Rebel leveling dilemma

Too bright out to get a clear picture today. Front is done. Rear hasn't been touched. I am going to put the rear shocks on. I may not install the Carli HD springs on the rear.

    Ram Rebel leveling dilemma

Found my ball joint fork attachment for my air hammer. I had to way lay on it, but it popped loose. My truck is finally back together. I'll get the back done this weekend. Thanks everyone!

    Ram Rebel leveling dilemma

I've finally was able to get back on my truck and have all the correct parts. I finished the Driver's side up and got onto the passenger side. I cannot break the ball joint loose from the spindle. I've been hammering on the end of the ball joint bolt with my air hammer and no luck. Tried to get...

2024 Rebel vs Chevy LT Trail Boss vs Tremor

I bought a new 2021 GMC Sierra SLT with the Duramax 3.0 Diesel. I got a best of 34.4 instant fuel mileage. When it worked, it was great! You won't win any races, but it had enough power. It just didn't knock your socks off. The 10 speed transmission started giving me fits just under 60,000...

    Ram Rebel leveling dilemma

I finally took the time to install everything this past weekend and ran into a big problem. I started on the front drivers side and completed it. Everything went smooth once I got it all apart. The new shock assembly and upper control arm bolted in as expected. Once I got to the front...

    Ram Rebel leveling dilemma

Umm...well, obviously your truck. However, I specifically stated 'Rebel trucks" as there is a difference. Your's isn't a Rebel. I appreciate you sharing your experiences, though.

    Ram Rebel leveling dilemma

I'm anxious to see some pictures from you all! I'm dragging my feet to get mine done. I have too many projects going on.

    Ram Rebel leveling dilemma

At worst, it will put you back to factory rake. I tow some, so I need that rake. I would just like to reduce the amount of rake the factory provides. Did you replace your upper control arms?

    Ram Rebel leveling dilemma

I have acquired everything, but have not yet gotten it all installed. A lot going on, so just haven't had the time yet. However, I am getting very close to getting it done. Does your truck have ramboxes and/or MFT?

    UCA Thread

I know this isn't the answer you are looking for, but I've purchased the RC UCA's. I just haven't installed them yet. I'm still waiting on some other things before I'm able to get them installed. Of course, I'm awaiting the time to do the install as well. They are certainly of nice quality and...

    Ram Rebel leveling dilemma

If your tailgate is 130#'s heavier than mine, then imagine the squat someone weighing 130#'s would create to my truck sitting on my tailgate. 1/4" at best?

    Ram Rebel leveling dilemma

Yeah, you are right. I wasn't thinking about the difference in the coil wind from stock to Carli. The load characteristics will be different for sure. I still can't wrap my head around how your setup would be much different than mine, though.

    Ram Rebel leveling dilemma

I have an interesting update... Today, the Carli rear HD springs arrived along with the Method 317 wheels and Bilstein 6112's. UPS man I bet was hating me today having to unload all that:) The interesting thing I've found out is that the Carli HD spring measures 21-1/2" in static height. From...

    Ram Rebel leveling dilemma

I've read Carli's site to nauseam. Reading their site and seeing your truck on there was what led me to purchase the HD springs in the first place. Quite frankly, I can't understand them saying what they did to me. It's contradictive to what they've posted online. Comparing your truck to mine...

    Ram Rebel leveling dilemma

Oh I know I'm overthinking this. That is my intention here:) I'm trying to work everything out best I can now rather than when I do the install. These parts aren't particularly cheap and if I install them to find out they won't work, then they effectively become used. I was killing some time...

    Ram Rebel leveling dilemma

Knowing this, then I can only deduct I'll be running spacers until I can find the correct spring to give me a 1/2" or so rake.

    Ram Rebel leveling dilemma

Here's another response from Carli... Considering the lift you’re putting on the front and the lack of constant load in the rear, I’d say they’re too much spring for you. These are made for a Rebel with 500lbs of constant load. Regards, Customer Service & Tech Support Carli Suspension

    Ram Rebel leveling dilemma

I received a response to my email to Carli today. This leaves me with more questions than I had before Here it is... Hi Jeremy, The Rebel HD Springs will absolutely provide lift. They’re made to sit at 1” of lift with a constant 500lb. load. Your Ram boxes won’t get you there so you could...

    Ram Rebel leveling dilemma

Carli advertises right in the beginning of the write up of each of their systems for the Ram 1500 that their kit provides 2.5" of lift for the front of a 5.7 Hemi truck and 1" of lift for the rear. I guess the Rebel already has that 1" of lift, so those specs negate each other. My truck has...
