This is not a fob issue, though that did cross my mind when the issue was initially happening. I discounted it at first as my truck / fob have been kept in the same 'places' since 2019 without issue (basically, the truck is in the driveway and the fob is physically in the home on the other side...
Were your dash lights on constantly or intermittent ? My problem has been isolated to the "press brake / push start" dash indicator coming on intermittently. When it comes on, it stays on, and eventually the battery dies from the draw if I don't happen to catch this issue while it's happening...
Ok, let me know, as I’m still trying to get my service date moved up … thanks … as an aside, I tested it again today and after reconnecting the negative battery cable ( had disconnected overnight) and starting/ stopping the engine, the lights went out, all seemed good and then a little after...
I should add, mine is a 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie 5.7 with about 14k miles only on it ... I haven't seen anything on the control screen, just the dash and only the "press brake and push start" lit ...
