I would have got the console rather than the fold down cupholder/storage, and I would have skipped the tow mirrors. Other than that, I am quite happy with my truck.

I finally disconnected the negative terminal on my battery for about 30 minutes. Reconnected and the clock and compass are both working as they should.

This has to be a software/firmware issue. As stated above, if you release the brake pedal as soon as you hit the start button, the clank does not happen.
