I called dealer in Mid-November 2023 on the 21st I believe. Then called mid-February 2024 here. When I spoke to them, I said it has been 3 months since I called and ask if they forgot about me. They said no just that the parts had not arrived yet. So then 2 days later they call the parts...
Dealer told me about 2 hours and should be good to go. I have a 2 hour drive to the dealership. Then 2 hours back home. By then should be able to tell if anything is going to go wrong I hope. I could of maybe had this done at a dealer closer but figured best to take back to where I bought the...
I am still waiting yet for my pump. Just called dealer this morning after 3 months since I was put on the list. Right now, I am at 26 plus for this winter driving. I have a mix of different roads also.
Was your better mileage during warmer weather??
I just did a fill yesterday and EVIC said 26 on the nose. Hand calculated was 25.84. Not to bad with winter fuel here in Wisconsin and about 50-50, 4 lane versus 2 lane.
Thanks for the Info.
Now the next question here is anyone that gets the new HPFP installed I am curious if your mileage will stay the same or change some.
I am following here. Good to know they are starting to get the fix in now. Wonder what time frame is once you take your truck in to change pump? 1.5 hours???
Or should I ask what is Ram allowing for the Tec to change out the pump to the new one??
I hear you. Just like our Chevy Avalanche. Had a recall on the airbags and called dealer middle of May. Just received a call today they have them in. Go figure, 5 and half months. Dang>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
And this is why I switched to Quaker oil with the MS-12991 labeled on the container. Still in warranty. Actually, I am more worried about the fuel pump going 🔥 than anything else.
My first oil change I used Amsoil but after 3500 miles I switched to Quaker oil because of the MS-12991. And if you go to Amsoil website they really do not list a oil for the Eco diesel in the 2020 through 2023 years. Punch in the 5.7 Hemi and boom many shows up then. But to answer your...
I can believe it. I had wind to my back and going 70 mph for some time and averaged 31.5 MPG. I was like WOW. But that was the only time I have ever been able to achieve that. Also have the GDE Tune in at 3000 miles and over 12,000 miles now. Now just so the HPPF holds out till the new...
Mine does the same as yours does at the shift points till warmed some. I don't think anything of it now. But I am liking my tune also in the 2022 Limited. Put mine in just short of 3000 miles and have 11,000 miles on the truck now.
Headed towards the 10,000 mile mark and zero issues. 3.21 rear with the GDE in from 3000 miles. Just checked mileage yesterday and this fill up was at 28.44 hand calculated also.
Also what Ramblin Man posted was this person's 1st post also and the link states to 2019 when I first checked the link out, but now it said up to 2022. So not sure if this is legit.
