The cigar plug on top of the dash is always on. Is there any way to change a setting to have this plug go on or off with the engine bring on or off? This is the perfect place to plug in a dash cam, but have to plug it in and out all the time gets old.
Below is a pic of window stickers from 2 very similar trucks. Both Bighorns with the 6’4” box. Made within about a month of each other. Note that the list of standard items on one is longer than on the other. The only option difference is ORG & Surround Cameras in the one with the shorter list...
So the oil spec for the 2025 1500 with the 3.0 liter inline 6 SO engine is 0-20W. The HO engine gets 0-40W. Given the recent recall on the Chevy and the “fix” is moving it from 0-20W to 0-40W so there is better protection, is anyone with the SO running 0-40W oil? What was the MPG impact of that...
I am sure that we have all had interactions with car/truck salespeople that are worth noting either because we had a stellar interaction or had to deal with a clown. Interested in your stories.
This morning I saw an advert for a Bighorn with a $63,975 sticker marked down with dealer and Ram...

The title says it all. I’m curious why the lower trim ORG gets the skid plate on the front suspension with the trim above with ORG it does not. Also, is this something that can be easily added after the fact?
We are all aware of the rear window leaks, cracks & failures. One thing I have not seen discussed is if the failed window had ever had interaction with a tonneau cover, especially while travelling. Many of the hard folding, and some soft folding, covers rest against the rear window when fully...
I had pretty simple wants for my truck. The list included:
- 18” wheels with Off Road Tires
- Cloth heated seats
- Off Road Package
- Standard bed in a 1500/150 truck
- Ability to tow it 4 down
That is what I wanted. I shopped Chevy, Ford & RAM. Chevy has the B pillar too far forward and it...
