Can you go through the steps you took to get the error? Mines a 2019 Limited and not a classic and had no issues changing this. Few others haven’t had an issue either.
I go to 2013-2017 Mode year. Then PowerNet. Then car configuration change.
Should be under vehicle configuration 3 I...
If you go back to that post and go forward you will see how i did this, best way honestly is get the tank from a junkyard with most of the components on it. I went through details on what parts I needed and I believe are needed. Rammit also compiled a list, his was slightly different cause he...
There was no skid plate on the tank for my limited so not sure. The only key difference in the tanks (26 vs 33) is the 33gal has a longer end (which basically goes under the rear seats more. The rest of the tank is identical (26 vs 33) if you look at my pics on post 117...
Theres so many of these part numbers and hard to keep it all in track since I dont have access to the actual dealer parts network side.
But the one ending in 75C seems to state its for 5.7L and the one ending in 76C seems to say its for 3.6L but both are 33gal tanks as far as description goes...
Remember the fuel pump and level unit is identical. The tank is basically identical in height and shape except it’s just extended.
On the programming side they have the same fuel empty and fuel marks. So when you elongate the tank you going to end up with more fuel even when the level unit...
Yes. Biggest ticket item that wouldn’t be needed would be the fuel pump assembly. That runs like $600 at the dealer depending on discounts.
As mentioned in this thread, going from 26 to 33 you can reuse your fuel pump assembly. 23 to 33 you need a new one as it’s not compatible.
The bypass can be any bypass. Doesn’t need to be a specific one. Here is an example of one.

It plugs into two plugs on the top left of your OBDII port on the drivers side wall. There is a box there that two plugs must be...
For me I use 13-17 for my Ram 2019. The other ones work but many things will be missing.
The other person who posted (where you got it from) this could’ve had that mode year range.
Try the 13-17 PowerNet

Good price for sure. I got mine off an IIHS crash tested one too. Just look at the 33gal retrofit thread. Tons of info there towards the last few pages. I’ve done the retrofit myself. Tank is the main part but there a ton of other little parts you will need. More if you coming from a 23gal...
I did the tank swap but went from a 26 to 33. It only requires a range to empty modification calibration. That was done easily with AlfaOBD tuner.
Another member (Rammit) who I helped out did the 23 to 33 gal swap. He had a lot more parts to buy because the fuel pump is different between 23...
Yes. All you do is edit the fuel capacity size (it’s in liters). I just moved from a 26 to the 33gal tank and that’s all I had to adjust to make the range to empty value show proper. The fuel pump is the same between the two so didn’t need to adjust any of those values.
However for you if you...
Man that is crazy that you didnt see that bracket even on some 26gal based trucks. Mines a Limited, not sure (and wouldnt even understand why) if they are somehow adding brackets on certain models that they know could get a 33gal or not, but that is really crazy what you found that even some...
Looking at Diablosport site seems to show the Intune comes with a modified PCM which is unlocked. So sounds the same as above. You need the ECU unlocked and they sending one. And don’t see a security bypass included so sounds like you wouldn’t need one
I put LED in my center high mount brake light which has the two on the end for cargo. I have a Limited and those bulbs didn’t come as LED and I put in LED and have no issue.
Reverse lights not sure about as my truck already has them on the limited. But looking at AlfaOBD for my truck I do see...
Honestly They are not "tuners". These are really just ways to change settings on the ECU that CDJ put in their that apply to multiple models. Tazer is more of an all in one easier to use tool but limited in what it can or cant change. This is what Tazer DT allows you to do...
AlfaOBD and Tazer are basically ECU modification tools. AlfaOBD is more of a setting changing tool.
Security Bypass Module is a module you need to add in order to “bypass” the security gateway these new cars have. These are there so folks easily program the main ECU with third party tools.
