did that last week. super easy and a lot of fun. Don't forget the anti-slip additive Mopar recommends and if you have a different rear-end from standard (mine is 3.92) you have to use a different weight.
Which one of you parked next to me at the theatre today?
I appreciate not only did you share a zone with me at the back of the lot but you also lifted your truck up higher than mine :P
My fully loaded limited is still insanely payload restricted so the tow rating doesn’t mean much to me. I think my payload max is around 1050 pounds. I’m 270, wife is…er not zero (sorry hun) once we get in, I have a 6’4” bed that legally can haul about 8 bags of Quickrete before I’m over...
Today was the day. It took me 5 hours to do all of this maintenance:
1. Engine Oil
2. Engine Oil Filter
3. engine air filter
4. Cabin air filter
5. Front Dif
6. Rear Dif
7. Transfer Case
8. Topped up coolant (OEM)
9. Diesel Fuel filter
10. Also replaced the brake fluid in my engine brake...
Almost at 30,000 miles so I ordered some goodies for the truck. nothing sexy but good stuff.

EDT @ every fill up
Follow the owners manual for maintenance (some people do oil changes at 5K instead of 10K)
Get it out on the open road as often as you can as 5-10 minutes here and there sitting in traffic isn’t what it’s designed for so you’re not going to burn off the nasty stuff
No need to...
I’m very happy with my 22” night edition wheels. They came on the truck. I’m on my second set of tires. Sadly, I don’t know any better as far as if 18 or 20 is a nicer ride. 22 feeels pretty damn good so I am not tempted to size down.
There was a lot of stuff left I didn’t pick up like a poker table with a topper so you could dine on it then remove the topper and there was a card table as well. A lot of Acadia hardwood chairs, marble coffee tables, etc.
Here’s the couch in orange leather - New Standard 92" Sofa
Here’s the...
Work was giving away furniture. This couch retails for $6500 but no one at my work had a car large enough for it. Guess who has a new couch now :) I love this truck.
The chairs were $1700 a piece And everything looked brand new.
I'll take a look at mine but with my Mopar 125,000 mile warranty and no mention of this in the owners manual, I'm going to ignore it for now and wait for an EVAP or emission error to pop up and let the dealer do it and bill RAM.
Hit 30,000 today. Have done 3 oil changes and will do a 4th soon. Been following maintenance to the T and doing stuff a tiny bit earlier than required. Had a dead OEM battery which was resolved. Had all recalls done so far. I did have hesitation with the throttle at green lights but that's been...
Good morning, it's okay I wish it were a tiny bit larger both door to doo so it'd cover a bit more on the sides and a little bit longer so it sat in the back completely flat. It's just a smidge too short and 50% of the bed is a hammock and isn't touching the ground. The dog is happy with it and...
Spent the weekend at my Dad's farm in Alabama. got some solid clay under the fenders. We did some shooting, long drives / hikes and even got the truck stuck after a hard rain but made it out after a bit of push & pull in 4 wheel drive. Great time hanging out with dad. Now that I'm in North...
<didn’t watch the video>
The EcoDiesel Gen 3 is a marvel Made possible by FCA and Fiat’s Italian motor that is small and puts down pretty good power with crazy good efficiency. I grabbed the 8 year 125K mile warranty for around $1800 I think. It’ll pay for itself by the time I’m done with the...
