I've never seen two trucks exactly alike. Optimized (sort of) for daily driving and utility.

What do you all do with left over harnesses? I have a few (tail lights from installing LED bed lights, headliner from installing intermittent wipers, tail gate from installing tailgate ajar). The clips are damaged or a few of the clips are broken. Ends and wire are still fine.

I totally agree. I didn’t use the kit. Replacing the harnesses was a snap, pun intended.

Hi seansmd, I set the alarm, left the window open, put the key fobs 60 ft away, and then reached through the window and pulled the hood release....then ran 60 ft to get the key fobs to turn it off hahahaha.

I think the easiest way is to get the AlfaOBD update and see if both (two) "hood ajar monitoring" settings exist. Just set them to "yes". BTW--after I made the change, it did not work until I restarted the truck.

PS—my alarm now sounds if the hood is opened when the alarm is activated. :)
