    Vararam Air intake

I've had mine for over five years. Verified improvement in 0-60 time over factory. Plus, IMO, it's just the best looking intake available, especially if you do car shows. Only issue I've had was the install thin "gasket" the filter sits on, in the base, shrunk a little and had a gap which let...

    Ram 1500 coolant smell

Can't remember if I updated this thread or another. Over 75k miles on my truck. Overflow tank topped off once because dipstick was dry. That was at like 30k miles . Coolant still full, dipstick clean no build up on it. And I still get the coolant smell on a hot engine every now and then...

How to tell if my mirror works with auto dim high beams

Sounds like you got it figured out. I'm not a fan of auto high beams. Turned them off in every car I've driven at night that had them.

    Hoping I am not screwed...

Eye brows are fine. Not as much water used and easier to contain it and keep it from getting in drivers side kick panel area.

What did you do to your Ram today???

As long as you don't have to make the holes bigger.

    Pole Barns and lifts

I'd recommend a minimum of 12' ceiling for a lift if you want to work comfortably under the vehicle. You can find all sorts of different lifts depending on what you want from them. A 2-post lift is most popular for general automotive maintenance, because it leaves the center of vehicle...

    2026 HEMI or Hurricane?

I thought the 33 gallon tank was standard now

What did you do to your Ram today???

More body panel screws, not bolts.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Mid terrains work good in deep snow but not that great on hard packed snow or ice. Some are able to be studded though which would help

    Hoping I am not screwed...

Based on OPs own comments he understood there was a risk. There does not need to be a written waiver of liability.

    Hoping I am not screwed...

    Completely different circumstances.

    Hoping I am not screwed...

I would never expect, or even ask for a shop to replace a part I knew could get damaged when doing something I asked them to do. Morals count.

    Hoping I am not screwed...

It's not their "mistake". He said the shop used soak ropes and towels, so they took measures to minimize the risk, but there is always a risk that the OP understood could happen. Just like when getting chips in windshield repaired. Shops will tell you there is a chance the chip could spread...

    Stake hole tie downs search

Good to know. I thought I had seen others post that they were just caps.

    Hoping I am not screwed...

Not even close to the same comparison. Wpoing up paint off your floor is not even close to expecting a shop to replace an expensive module that has to be reprogrammed by the dealer. and based on his post, he knew the risk.

    Stake hole tie downs search

Pretty sure the front is just snapped in "caps". You could also install utility tie down rails on the inside of the bed for tie down points. Unless there is a reason you need them to be on the bed rails.

    Hoping I am not screwed...

The shop does not have to buy him anything. He understood the risk involved with getting windshield tinted. It's his responsibility to replace if it is bad.

    Winter fun

I never have to wait for Santa to buy parts for the truck, or really anything for that matter. Nothing planned yet. Will see what the wife wants to do. This may be our first vacation without any kids, so might try something a little more fun. Twin turbo kit Eh, it is what it is. Kids are...
