I just traded (a few months ago) a 16' Laramie 3500 Dually with 43k miles in on a 19' 1500 Hemi Limited with 59k miles (non et) even trade. Went outside the dealership to get a factory MaxCare warranty which has already paid for itself.

What year/model truck? I have a 19' Limited and had to have both the motors and control modules replaced, and still have problems with the boards having "minds of their own". Sometimes they take several seconds to deploy, making it almost dangerous to try to get in and out of the vehicle because...

Traded a 16' Laramie Long Bed Crew Cab Dually with 48k on the clock for a 19' Limited with 59k. Picked up a MaxCare Warranty for a decent price (very glad I did) as the gremlins began to appear. First was the AC debacle.... I could blow colder air with a couple of ice cubes in my mouth - lol...
