I had the step fold up on me once, put me on the ground without so much as a speck of dignity. Spent the day loading and unloading moving some stuff around. I got pretty quick at going in and out of the bed. I had placed my foot at the first lower pivot point and not on the very end of the...
I like having the surround camera I find it very helpful in tight places to see the clearances, which I get into often enough. I use the mirrors when backing the truck, old truck driver here. Next favorite is the blind spot monitoring. The cruise control is different, you have to learn how...
I went the Gatorback route despite the expense, not sorry I did. They are a little wider and longer, gives a little more protection. I think they have some that will fit with wider tires and lifts, being a little longer still. Check on that yourself to make sure I'm correct in my thinking...
Well not to get the discussion started again, as it has been discussed before. What about another catch can? I don't see it listed.
It was you who convinced me to add one to my RAM. Glad it's there, no regrets, it fits in with the way I use my truck and driving style.
Outside of that it...
I would walk out and not look back.
You hold the all the cards right now and they act like their doing you a favor.
The other side of that is you don't get to grind away either, it's called mutual respect.
What's it going to be when the truck needs service work, and they all do, some more...
Get the RAM, definitely the RAM! The comfort in the cab just blows any other truck in todays market out of the water in my opinion. Having had a V6 in a full size truck I much prefer the V8's hands down. It's what makes you happy in the end that is most important. If you decide on the Ford...
I am thinking the same as PowerJrod. The software that controls your shift points in the transmission may be corrupted since the original programming. Update/remap it may smooth it out for you.
I wouldn't call it a workaround to my way of thinking. I call it working within the design parameters of the way the truck was originally designed to operate. This is the most complicated truck I have ever owned. I don't pretend to know the finer points of how it works. I just want it to...
Put your right foot back into it a little bit more. Not excessively. You bought a truck not a fuel sipper. The truck has adjusted to a lighter driving style and is choking a little.
I went the Gatorback route. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again despite the expense. Redevil showed you what they look like on the truck. They are weighted on the bottom to stay put at highway speeds. They use existing mounts in the wheel wells with some side to side adjustability. If...
I went thru this earlier this summer. This is the way it was explained to me at the dealership. The 19 Hemi's and beyond use a 10yr/150,000 mile antifreeze. Mopar part # 68163849AB
The previous years used a 5 yr/100,000 mile antifreeze Mopar part # 68051212AC
The auto stores I visit knew...
Has it just now started to behave like this? What kind of shape is your air breather in?
Mine did same thing for a short while. I put in about half a tank of 93 octane gas and it cleared up shortly within that same tank.
I've always ran 89 in it as per owner's manual.
Since then I changed...
IF you add weight in the bed, put it in front of the rear axel in the front of the bed. MOST of the added weight will end up on the back axel and not lighten up the front axel. Granted the engine mass is carried on the front axel, but you don't want to harm any of your steering ability.
Not mentioned yet is I have found less downshifting on the highway to maintain cruising speed with my 3.92. Along with that in town you will notice the MDO stays on a little more. Real world mileage is a tough one to anticipate. Some here get above 20 mpg highway with a 3.92. I never have...
Not to highjack this discussion, but here is my question. For those of you, who park your diesel's in an attached garage to your houses, do you have any exhaust smell in the house? The DEF tanks have cleaned the exhaust up considerably. Is it enough to stay out of trouble in an attached garage?
How many miles do you pull your trailer in a year? The extra costs of maintaining the eco diesel will eat up any fuel savings. Add in another additional $1800 worth of payments per year. Do you park your ecodiesel in an attached garage to your house? Cold diesels are nasty smelly in the dead...

To answer your question. I purchased a set (20") for my last truck, an 09 Silverado. I ran them for 30,000+ miles and didn't have any problems with them. At 30,000+ still going strong.I always got a flat or two each year from an alley I was stuck with. The kevlar stopped that...
