My dealer can't give me anything more than estimated ship date (9/19 which is absolutely unrealistic), and D1 status which I can see myself using the tracker. I'm 100% headed for a strike. :cautious:
Yeah, I have noticed the Jeep tracker updates everymorning with a new day count. Just wasn't sure if the changes are updated on the fly midday as well....
It's bad enough to wait for a truck with an unknown ETA, but the impending strike adds a whole different level of unknownness.....
C - Your order is "subfirm". The plant can see the order at this point but it's not fully committed to building as the supplier may or may not be able to get parts to the plant to build the truck. I am not sure of all the details on this state yet so I can't comment further...
I assume you guys don't live there it gets really hot or cold? Nothing better than being able to remote start it from outside keyfob range to come to a nice and toasty truck instead of an ice brick.

Yeah, and that's the problem. Any way you skin this cat, I don't see an agreement which appeases them simply because some of their demands are absolutely ludicrous. Any agreement they sign will mean they had to make some concessions. No way the big 3 come anywhere near what the UAW demands...
I just hope the strike, or better yet - the outcome doesn't result in disgruntled employees who may take their frustration on our trucks in the form of sloppy or careless work.
