I really like the look of those tires and have seen them everywhere lately. The siping and blocking looks like it would be a very well rounded (tire pun) AT if the compound is quality. Sidewall looks nice too. Let us know how they work out.
It’s funny (sad) that the stock photos are being used to train AI which is generating images which are being sold (by Adobe at least) as stock images.
In a sane world there would be copyright infringement concerns here.
So yes I’m sure they hate it.
I like it. My previous truck I used the same Thule mounts but just attached it to a 2x6 that slotted into the bedside molds for such. Then the board came out when I wasn’t biking. That said I wasn’t also contending with a tonneau cover.
BFGs run small. That said 295/70r18s do still fit stock at least with ORGs. So would definitely fit leveled/lifted trucks. I remain convinced this is the perfect size.
Thanks for adding to the picture database. Looks great.
Indeed, if we follow that argument to the end of the path we find that EVs are massively less complex than any ICE engine.
So complexity isn’t the issue, is it?
Just say “I don’t like the Hurricane” and that’s fine.
When DD first came out with these there were some problems with certain tow package specs on F150s where the truck would think a trailer was connected.
DD quickly took care of everyone affected sending them new harnesses free and making permanent design changes. They had a great response...
Yup. I still don’t want a Tundra buy by golly did they man up to their mistake in a very Toyota way. Never in a million years would we see a Big 3 manufacturer do the same.
Keeps me open to one of their products down the road, perhaps a Land Cruiser or 4Runner though.
It’s just how the math shakes out in any particular setup.
The guys building bonkers blown f150 coyotes for the quarter mile are speccing the lowest 3.31 axles.
I bet they lugged the damn engine the whole way up too. Not sure the to/haul mode on these new trucks but if the revs are below the torque peak - say less than 2,500 rpm - that’s relying on tons of boost, ergo heat. Not to mention less coolant flow.
