I had the same problem with the rears but used a couple of nickel sized 1/8" thick rubber washers, one on each side of rod and used these vice grips "home depot" which allowed me to crank them down enough.

I have the extended length 2"-3" coilovers 883-06-166 and wanted a little more than Fox Factory shipped settings which I believe are sent with 2" of pre-load and I wanted 2 1/2". From ground to fender I'm right at 40 1/4" with stock duratrac tires
I also have the Icon 1.5" Rear coils with no...
I shipped on a Saturday and Fox got em on Monday, I had them add an extra 1/4" of threads at top and had them back Wednesday. Dealt with Jeff, very fast turn around but a pain no less.

Hi there,
Would you happen to know which spring compressor you used for your coilovers and where you bought or rented from? Maybe even a picture,, I'm in need of them badly, could not budge the collar even though I had the weight off of them.

Yeah, I hear ya. I went with BDS uppers but am afraid to install them now that I've heard the ball joints snapping, hopefully isolated incident!

Hi, can anyone tell me if there Fox coilovers came with hardware for mounting the top into shock tower. The 3 bolts and nuts, or do you reuse the original hardware?
Thanks, I just don't want to start the install and get stuck!

I do have the extended travel Fox's, and I'm adding 1/4" more threads above collar for 2.5", so no extended front brake lines needed. Got it.
Thank you

Hello Rebel owners,
I have a question regarding front brake lines before I start installing the fox 2.5's. With 2.5" of total lift including the 1"ORP will I need to extend the brake lines or will I be ok? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Looks great! Do you have any noise from those uca's? I'm torn on which one's to use, I've been told uca's with urethane bushings squeek alot and know the Zone's are rubber
