21 Ram 4x4 QC 3:92 5.7 non e-tq bighorn lv 2, tow group, trailer steering, trailer tpms. Billstein 5100s leveled in front, hellwig sway bar, energy front poly sway bushingd and sumo springs(ride is great when not towing, can't even tell they are on the truck). This is how it sits with around...
Installed energy poly front swaybar bushings, some patriotic decals, being a vet I always have to add some type flag stuff to truck. Getting ready to go on Long trip with my travel trailer this weekend. Put see through flag on sliding windows, AR decal, front Ram waving flag decal. Trying to...
My truck when I bought it has a weathertech bed mat and tailgate protector, they sell them seperate, protector is about $65-70 by itself. I plan on going spray bedliner also in future.
I never had a issue adding double dose of fuel system cleaner. Make sure it has p.e.a on label. Forgot, but post above is correct, clean that throttle body about every 20k Miles, does smooth out idle and is 15 minutes to do and easy. I use Rislone hy-per or gumout expert for injectors.
My wheel and tire combo I love the look. But is sooooooo heavy. Think I got the heaviest wheels and tires on mine. I kinda want a winter set, would probably get 3 mpg better mileage.
I have had 4 Hemi vehicles, fuel cleaner made difference on my vehicle's. My 13 Ram 5.7 every year I when tank was about 25 gallons I would put a double dose of a p.e.a cleaner like Regane, then at same time add double dose of lucas fuel additive. When I got down to about empty I could start...
I had a 2002 z28 I did every bolt on and changed rear gear ratio, stall converter etc, was running ET drags every weekend for around 6 years, never broke a thing. Wasn't that quick, usual 12.1 quarter mile, but the ls1 was super reliable. Now I have a 2010 SS/RS.
Bought a 2016 primetime executive TT last year for $12,000 from private seller, is around 7,000 pounds, love the layout, outside fridge/kitchen, dual sliding doors bedroom with entertainment center in middle and bathroom shower is residential size. Photo is from last year with my 13 Ram 1500...
So I added the shca 3.5 neo's today to test, odd thing is rock or rap now sounds just as loud, before rock was always quiet.... wierd Might finally be happy now, before stuff like ac/DC, metallica, megadeath, etc sounded about as loud as before the key amp. The odd sound seems to he gone also...
I want to seperate the 6x9 from the 3.5s, to run the 200.4 to just front. How hard is it to run new speaker wires to dash, I have no idea if there is anything blocking. If its a long process will just go with a more powerful amp.
After installing the kicker key 200.4 I like how the dsp makes it sound, but power is lacking pushing the fronts and rear. I still hear odd sound, but think its the music format more than the trucks 8.4 radio. I am going to try using the kicker to only power the fronts seperate and see if I get...
On my 13 5.7 I had mds turned off entire time I had it with zero issues. But I also heard mds off can cause lubrication issues, also heard 5w30 can cause mds issues, but I know many use 5w30, so who knows. My 13 had a extra strong oil pump, would run 65psi most of time, where my newer 21 ram...
I have had a few 5.7s, older 05 gen Durango, sold it with 185,000 miles, a 13 Ram 5.7 traded it in with 125k, now my current 21 bighorn 5.7. Never had the Hemi tick in any, just manifold bolts broke and were replaced. I only use PUP and 8oz of lubeguard biotech moly enhancer, in bigger bottle...
Congrats. Ive heard mixed opinions on going to 5w30. My previous 13 ram 5.7 I used 5w20 penz ultra platnium, never got the hemi tick. Not saying 5w30 is bad, just seen mixed opinions on it. I use 8 oz of lubeguard heavy duty additive to every oil change, other name is lubeguard biotech, only...
To me the SE is more sporty and low profile, the elite sticks up in middle at tailgate, so is mainly what look your after. I liked the SE look much better. I had oem plastic caps on my bed and had zero issues, never touched the paint.
