Not to nitpick, but the owner's manual is a little more specific on the oil level refresh steps...
● Run the engine until the oil temperature is above 180°F (82°C).
● Park the vehicle on relatively level ground.
● Turn the engine off and cycle the ignition back to the RUN position. Wait four...
I assume the dealer checked that you had the latest Uconnect update? You can check it here: Uconnect® Software Update Center: For Stellantis Vehicles
After the last Uconnect update, I did a factory reset from the Vehicle Settings, and I have not had a buzz since then.
It does the same on my 2025 Laramie. I don't notice it much because the truck is parked away from the house. It hasn't caused any issues for me. Overall, this truck makes a variety of strange sounds, but it starts and runs perfectly, so I am not going to complain.
The front drive shaft still spins in 2WD when driving slow, even though the OR pages now show it not "locked". The back tires will spin on loose ground in 2WD, so I know the front axle is not getting much (if any) power in 2WD. I've read that the BW 48-11 transfer case does not really "lock"...
I ordered a loaded 2025 Laramie ($80k MSRP) from Mark Dodge and got $15k off with all discounts and incentives. My MPG is not great, but I do have 33.5” tires and a camper shell. I have no other complaints and the handling and acceleration are amazing.
My local dealer updated my PCM software to the latest version and the off-road pages are now working properly for me. Hopefully, the update improves the MPG a bit.
There is no sway with my ORP, and I drive through a curvy, narrow canyon on most days. I was thinking of upgrading to Bilstein 6112s when they became available, but I am not sure if I have a good reason to.
I checked the traction on a hill covered in wet leaves. The rear tires spin in 2WD and not in 4WD Auto. That means the front hubs are not locked in 2WD even though the transfer case is always locked. I have a service appointment next Friday for them to take a look. If the locked transfer case is...
I double-checked mine in all modes and saw the same thing. It always spins the front drive shaft. Hopefully, it can be fixed and is part of the reason for my 14 MPG. I am going to talk to my local service manager tomorrow. Other than the locked transfer case, my truck runs great, and the...
At first, the big blind spot from the tow mirrors was alarming. I remember being at a stop sign and totally not seeing a car on the cross-street. A couple of months later and it really isn’t an issue. I adjusted my driving to anticipate or look around the blind spot.
This just happened to my 2025 Laramie after the 11/23/2024 UConnect update. Besides the buzz, the radio volume banner at the top of the screen on a volume change did not display properly. Everything else appeared to be ok. I did a factory reset using the vehicle settings. That fixed the volume...
It would be interesting if that was intentional. My Tundra’s transfer case locked up and it was a fortune to fix it. I hadn’t put it in 4WD for about six months when it happened. Toyota told me to use the 4WD once a month to prevent it from locking up. I was going to do the same with my Ram.
Is the shifting better after this last update or am I imagining it? The truck always had power when you needed it, but sometimes it felt sluggish when accelerating slowly in some circumstances. Now, it always feels snappy and fun to drive.
My 2025 MD truck was in perfect shape when I picked it up. So far, there’s been no real issues. I asked them to double-check everything since I was going to drive it to CA and go a little off-road along the way. MD was awesome.
My truck was updated today. The What’s New page on the UConnect screen said there were no release notes. So what has changed besides the surround sound being turned off? My truck has been running fine except the shifting has been a little sluggish and the MPG is around 15 for my normal country...
My dog always walks around my truck while I pull in and back up in my driveway. My 2025 Laramie has always just beeped when he was close to the truck. Today, it slammed on the brakes while backing up and he was behind me. The emergency braking is working on my truck. He is a country dog who is a...
I live in a rural area where the roads are a bit rough and slightly wavy. The ORP shocks feel a lot like the old Bilsteins I had on my Tundra. There is a touch of vibration from the uneven road surface. It’s not really noticeable on a real highway.
The suspension is the stock ORP. The wheels are 20” Fuel Rebel 6 with +1 offset, no spacers. The tires are Toyota Open Country A/T III LT285/60R20. There is no rubbing with 285. I am not sure a 295 size would fit this setup.
Here is my ‘25 Laramie with ORP and Night Edition. I replaced the 22” rims with 20” because I need more tire. I live on a dirt road and also drive to Tahoe in winter. The tires are Toyota Open Country A/T III LT285/60R20.
