I have this kit, but without the uca's. They're still stock. This is what the dealer installed when I requested a 2" level when I purchased the truck 6 months ago. I've learned a lot since then by reading this site. Most say the factory uca's will work fine at 2" maximum lift. Anything more than...
Sharing for the benefit of others. I recently had a rattle/light clunking that was difficult to describe. Difficult to determine where it was coming from. Only heard it on rough roads and railroad tracks. More than the sound, it was a sense of something was loose, like the whole cab. I was at...
Referring to previous post, I feel like it's just outside of the limits of my truck, but if there's a way, it would make her really happy. And you know what they say about a happy wife...
My wife REALLY likes this trailer. Do you guys think I can pull this safely with my truck? See signature. Payload 1648. Could be 4 adults averaging 175 lbs in the cab at times.
Thanks for the info Ramchaser. My truck is at the dealer now - trying to track down some bothersome rattling noises. I shared this info with the service advisor. Still getting same response - they aren't able to do all tire sizes. It's looking like I may need to go the Alpha OBD route. Honestly...
I went through this for months, and finally last week pulled the trigger on BFG KO2's in 285/60/20. Like them so far, but have only driven a couple hundred miles.
Only driven 100 miles but so far I love them. Road noise is only noticeable if you're listening for it. Ride is smooth. Not enough miles yet to comment on mpg.
285/60/20 bfg ko2s on stock rims. 2" Readylift leveling kit. Factory ucas. No rubbing, no trimming required. Could go bigger like 285/65 but I don't like the look of the taller sidewall.
I just purchased new tires through my dealer on the Ram buy 3 get one for $1 deal two days ago. 285/60/20 BFG KO2. Everything went great - dealer said they would do the speedo recalibration at their regular shop rate, cost depending how long it took. Estimated $150.- no mention of a contract...
Just started considering this sized tire, after waffling on 275/65/20, 285/60/20, and 285/65/20. If you can share your experiences and some pics that would be a big help!
I bought my 19 Laramie in October ignorant about lofts and leveling kits. Been reading this forum since my purchase and have learned a ton! When I bought the truck I asked the dealer to install a 2 inch leveling kit. Didnt really know what components that meant. They installed a Readylift - I...
These tires are much lighter than others in LT sizes. One of my must haves is a tire that handles gravel well. I've had far too many flats with just about any factory tire over the years. Firestones are a little less money than say BFG KO2s, but I don't want to save $200 now and have to deal...
Based on your signature it sounds like you do some towing. What kind of weight do you pull? Any performance issues in towing with the larger and heavier tires?
