I have granite crystal, with body colored bunpers due to sport package, stock laramie chrome/brushed wheels. Black interior, which i love. Personally i think granite with black wheels/night edition looks great! I probably wont spring for aftermarket wheels but my consider powder coating current...
For black plastic parts, in the past i have used a product called Back to Black. It does a decent job of restoring from a lighter dull black (almost gray) to the original deeper black.
I havent driven a goodyear for a long time so i guess i cant say. I used to get flats with goodyear wranglers on gravel roads so i went away from them.
I agree. But they dont know how to if the tire size isnt in the menu of their software. I had also asked the another Ram dealer in my area before ordering the tires. Thst dealer said they couldn't do it at all, and auggested i would need to buy my own recalibration tool. I havent done that yet...
No. Sorry if i didnt communicate clearly. When i bought the teuck it had stock tire size. I replaced the tires 6 months later. Bought the tires through the dealer on the buy 3 get one for $1 sale. Dealer installed them.
The goodyear is the other tire that sometimes comes from the factory. Mine had the Bridgestones when i bought it with 24,000 miles. I just dont think they are a strong enough tire for a truck. The truck felt like it swayed all over the road. I was going bigger anyway and wanted something that...
They don't know is likley the issue. My 33's were purchased from and installed by my dealer. They were supposed to recalibrate but said my tire size doesn't come up as a selection in whatever system they use.
I live in Wisconsin where we have every kind of weather but hurricanes and tsunamis. I use auto 4wd in ice, slush, and snow. Almost never in just rain. IMHO it's likely not needed in SoCal. Good rubber on your wheels will be more than sufficient in rain. That said, if the truck has the...
Same for me. Had it looked at last week when my truck was at the dealer for other things. SA told me tech says everything checks out. The tech wasnt there at the time but if i want to come back when he is, he'd be happy to show me how to operate it.
Also, the gauge dimmer - it does nothing when...
Installed LED bed lightening and loving it. Followed a video i found on YouTube. Positive wired direct to battery with inline fuse. Less than $50 all in. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017XFF9IM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Description in my signature. I notice a rub one time, in reverse, full ****, when i went over a bump. Otherwise no rubbing whatsoever. Haven't recalibrated speedo yet. Not sure that i will. Mpg usually reads around 15.8 on the dash. Havent checked real life mpg with my own math. It just is what...
Follow up report. My dealer diagnosed that both manifolds needed replacing due to warping, likely caused by broken bolts. Parts ordered tuesday, picked up the truck today (friday). The service advisor told me they do 4 or 5 of these a month. This is in a city of 50,000 with other ram dealers in...
You likely have the uconnect guardian? I received these on my 2019 jeep grand cherokee, which had a number of months of guardain free. Dont have guardian with my Ram, and dont get these reports. I still get them on the jeep that was replaced by my Ram almost a year ago. Guess i can see how the...
On further thought you're probably right that it's covered under the original powertrain warranty. On the warranty topic, i understood the Certified additional warranty to be 3 months/3,000 miles. Dealer service rep tells me his computer shows i have MVP warranty to 100k miles until sometime in...
