I actually found some at Walmart in the automotive section recently. Grabbed a set for spares, $12 I think.

Mine has some hesitation/ surge when first driving after a long sit. I asked the same question here months back, found many others with the same issue. I've gotten used to it and it doesn't seem to affect performance after a short time of driving.

3.92 rear end, e-torque. 18.1 avg all summer, winter is here in MN, at 15.9 today, idling and 4wd use.

Mine does it too, I hate it, I wish it would just gain some speed and even out once you hit level road. I'm not in the mountains though, I can see where you guys would like the feature.

You and I are in the same boat. I even checked the rear plug before, helps if you have voltage gauge on the right setting, duh. Saw no power, so I ran a wire back. Later, in another thread, someone said there was constant power at the plug, I said there was not. They proved me wrong.....

I used the CIPA brand of these for 18 yrs on my previous rig, they worked perfect, zero shift in wind at hwy speeds.

I would be upset about that.

Looks like the black plastic has been etched(acidic) chrome wording has a bronze tint, or is that just the photos?

I bet the person in the factory that day was "now where did I put that piece of trim"......lol.

I asked the same thing here awhile back, consensus was it's normal.

I avg 17mpg, gauge shows 540 miles to empty, so fairly accurate.

Other than a bad battery which has been replaced, no issues, 6000 miles to date. When I was looking to buy, it was Ram or Ford. Part of me thought I should wait until the new F150 was released, now that I've seen them I'm so glad I went Ram!
